Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this research study is to find out how bones are affected in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D) as compared to children and adolescents without type 1 diabetes.

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. Age 18 years or older
  2. Willing and able to provide informed consent
  3. Able to understand and follow study procedures
  4. Stable medical condition
  1. * Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)\< 60 ml/mim
  2. * 25(OH)D level \< 20 ng/ml.
  3. * Celiac disease
  4. * Autoimmune thyroid disease
  5. * Addison's disease
  6. * History of pathological fractures
  7. * Bone active drugs in past year
  8. * Diabetes of other or unclear etiology
