Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This project builds on the Michigan Contraceptive Access Research and Evaluation Study (M-CARES) to evaluate the long-term effects of mothers' access to free contraceptives and reductions in unintended pregnancies on their children's well-being.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:0 Years to 17 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:CHILD
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * 18-35 years old
  2. * physically capable (biologically female and fecund) and at risk of having a pregnancy,
  3. * not pregnant at the time of enrollment
  4. * not wishing to become pregnant in the 12 months after enrollment,
  5. * are seeking care at Planned Parenthood of Michigan, and
  6. * face out-of-pocket costs for contraceptives at Planned Parenthood of Michigan.
  1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  2. Severe psychiatric disorders
  3. Active substance abuse
  4. Unstable medical conditions
  5. Inability to comply with study requirements
