Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy of implementing the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathway in a prospective manner to patients undergoing surgical treatment for extremity sarcoma.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Any patient at Vanderbilt University Medical Center treated with surgical excision of a suspected extremity sarcoma
  2. * Adult patients \>17 years of age
  3. * Patients of all preoperative opioid status (naïve or dependent)
  1. * Patients treated non-operatively
  2. * Non-English speaking patients
