Mindfulness in Endometrial and Cervical Cancer

Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

Patients with endometrial cancer who will be undergoing surgery or patients with cervical cancer who will be treated with chemoradiation will be randomized to utilize the Headspace smartphone application or not prior to their anticipated treatment.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 90 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:FEMALE
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * New diagnosis of either 1) endometrial cancer undergoing surgery or 2) cervical cancer undergoing chemo-sensitizing radiation
  2. * Access to a smartphone
  1. * Non-English speaking
  2. * No access to smartphone
  3. * Current use of Headspace application
