Participation Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

  • * Patient age \>=16 years admitted to study hospital ICU
  • * Intubated and mechanically ventilated
  • * Patient with pre-existing brain death admitted to study hospital for organ donation
  • * Died within 24 hours of intubation
