Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The GAP Study is a prospective cohort study designed to comprehensively investigate genetic variations that may contribute to cancer development among individuals diagnosed with appendix/appendiceal cancer who are ages 18+ years.

Participation Criteria

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Known diagnosis of appendix cancer in the United States
  2. * Mentally and physically able to consent and participate in the study
  3. * Known diagnosis of appendix cancer
  4. * Diagnosed by and/or consulting with a physician/clinical provider participating in the GAP Study
  5. * Mentally and physically able to consent and participate in the study
  6. * Biological parents (mother and/or father) of individuals actively participating in the GAP Study
  7. * Residing in the United States
  8. * Mentally and physically able to consent and participate in the study
  1. * Women pregnant at the time of consent
  2. * Prisoners
  3. * Unable to provide informed consent
  4. * Unable to read, write, or complete questionnaires in English
