Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * 18 years of age or greater
  2. * newly diagnosed HIV
  3. * Known diagnosis of HIV not on ART within 30 days of admission
  4. * Known HIV and not virally suppressed based on interview
  5. * Known HIV and has not been under the care of an HIV specialist within the past 6 months
  1. * All three criteria must be present for exclusion:
  2. * virally suppressed
  3. * actively taking ART
  4. * are under active care of an HIV specialist within the last 6 months
  5. * Less than 18 years of age (stand alone exclusion)
