This study will experimentally assess the comparability of in-lab and remote procedures with hypothetical and real ETM purchase outcomes.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Provide informed consent
  2. * Be at least 21 years of age or older
  3. * Stable tobacco use patterns for at least three months
  4. * Smoke at least 5 cigarettes daily
  5. * Use other tobacco products less than weekly
  6. * Have access to a computer and internet
  1. * report uncontrolled physical or mental health conditions (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, major depressive disorder, etc.),
  2. * use of smoking cessation medications (e.g., nicotine replacement, bupropion, varenicline) in the past 30 days,
  3. * report concrete, immediate plans to alter/quit using their usual tobacco products in the next 30 days,
  4. * be pregnant or lactating
