Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:16 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Homonymous hemianopia or homonymous quadrantanopia for at least 3 months
  2. * Binocular visual acuity of at least 20/40
  3. * Prior or current driving experience
  4. * Able to attend multiple study visits
  5. * Able to communicate in English sufficiently to understand the study procedures
  1. * Physical or general health problems that could impair the ability to operate the controls of the driving simulator or participate in the training
