Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The goal of this research study is to adapt an ACT-self-help workbook to the prison setting and determine the feasibility acceptability, and effectiveness of this workbook. Participants can expect to be in the study for 13 weeks.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * 18 years of age or older
  2. * Reading level of 6th grade or higher determined by the Wide Range Achievement Test
  3. * Moderate or severe anxiety and/or depression determined by the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI)
  4. * No active self-harm or active suicidal intent
  5. * No scheduled transfer or release for at least three months
  6. * Are able and willing participate.
  1. * Unable to provide informed consent
  2. * Active self-harm or suicidal intent
  3. * Scheduled transfer or release within three months
