Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This study aims to test the utility of Velacur ultrasound as a non-invasive, rapid, point of care diagnostic tool for detecting the presence and amount of hepatic steatosis in children and adolescents aged 2 - 20 years.

Participation Criteria

Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Males and females age 2-20 years with suspicion of MASLD or presenting to liver clinic for evaluation of liver disease, including possible MASLD
  2. * For participants choosing to do MRI they have to be able to undergo MRI without sedation
  3. * Written/verbal informed consent from parent or legal guardian
  4. * Written/verbal informed assent from the child when indicated by age
  1. * Ascites
  2. * Pregnancy
  3. * Failure to give consent or assent
  4. * Have an implanted electronic device such as pacemaker, neurostimulator, or cochlear implant
