Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

Project is a trial, in which women undergoing vaginal surgery for pelvic organ prolapse will be randomized 1:1 to a postoperative bowel regimen of either oral senna or rectal bisacodyl suppository.

Participation Criteria

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Women ages 18 and older scheduled to undergo vaginal pelvic organ prolapse repair
  1. * Women younger than 18 years old
  2. * Those unable to provide consent
  3. * Preexisting chronic laxative use
  4. * Conditions that could affect bowel function including, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colorectal cancer, rectovaginal fistula; concurrent bowel surgery; intraoperative bowel injury
