This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this research study is assess feasibility and acceptability of a recently developed brief self-help intervention targeted by cancer type to increase motivation to quit smoking.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Individuals who smoke and recently (i.e., within 6 months) received a diagnosis of breast, colorectal, gynecological, skin melanoma, or bladder cancer (n = 20 per cancer type). (Investigators will consider smokers individuals who report having smoked ≥1 cigarette in the past 30 days.)
  2. * Able to read/write English;
  3. * Able to give informed consent;
  4. * Not currently enrolled in a smoking cessation program;
  5. * Age ≥18 years old.
  1. * Male patients diagnosed with breast cancer will be excluded as lifetime risk for breast cancer in men is far below 1%
