Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This trial investigates how well a video-based clinical trial education session works in increasing knowledge and interest in cancer clinical trials among individuals in the metropolitan Detroit region of the Karmanos Cancer Institute (KCI) catchment area. This educational activity may help researchers learn more about individuals' awareness of clinical trials, knowledge, and intention to participates in a clinical trial.

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Individuals aged 21 and older
  2. * Participants will be identified through Karmanos Cancer Institute's (KCI) clinical treatment center
  3. * Participants will be identified through community-based KCI-sponsored events
  4. * Participants will have voiced an interest to participate followed by an Informed consent
  5. * none
  1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  2. Severe psychiatric disorders
  3. Active substance abuse
  4. Unstable medical conditions
  5. Inability to comply with study requirements
