Basal Cell Carcinoma
This research study is testing combination Blue-light photodynamic therapy and Sonidegib as a possible treatment for people with multiple basal cell carcinoma lesions. Basal cell carcinoma lesions are typically treated by freezing the lesion or surgically removing the lesion. These types of treatment can cause scarring. Photodynamic therapy uses light along with a drug applied to the skin to kill the cancer cells and cause them to break apart. The light used can cause the skin to feel warm, but does not cause scarring.

Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma
This clinical trial evaluates whether active surveillance (AS) is a safe and comfortable alternative to standard of care (SOC) treatment for elderly patients with low-risk basal cell carcinoma (LR-BCC). Basal cell carcinoma is a type of slow-growing skin cancer that has a very low risk of spreading inside the body (metastasis) or death. Basal cell skin cancers that are smaller across than a nickel in size and located on the trunk or limbs are particularly low risk to overall health. Active surveillance - watching and not treating unless the cancer worsens - has been shown to be a generally safe way to manage LR-BCC. Despite this, many doctors do not feel comfortable discussing this option with patients due to a lack of studies comparing it to standard of care treatment. Standard of care treatment for LR-BCC can include "scrape and burn" (electrodesiccation and curettage), surgical resection, Mohs surgery, and other approaches. These treatments can carry risks like post-operative bleeding and wound infection, and they do not always improve tumor-related quality of life. Active surveillance may be a safe and comfortable alternative to SOC treatment for elderly patients with LR-BCC.
Skin Basal Cell Carcinoma
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy of using SP-002 in participants with locally advanced Basal cell carcinoma. The main question it aims to answer is what the objective response rate for a basal cell carcinoma tumor is following 1 or 3 cycles of SP-002 treatment given as an add-on to hedgehog pathway inhibitor therapy. Researchers will compare the objective response rate for treated Basal cell carcinoma tumors between 3 treatment Arms. * Arm 1 participants will receive daily hedgehog pathway inhibitor, and 3 cycles of SP-002 treatment. * Arm 2 participants will receive daily hedgehog pathway inhibitor, and 1 cycle of SP-002 treatment. * Arm 3 participants will receive daily hedgehog pathway inhibitor only.
Basal Cell Carcinoma
The aim of this clinical study is to find out how well Patidegib Gel 2% works in preventing new basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) developing on the face of adults with Gorlin syndrome, and how safe Patidegib Gel 2% is to use. People who take part will apply either Patidegib Gel 2% or a Vehicle Gel (with no active drug substance) to their face twice a day for a year (12 months). The number of new BCCs on the face will be compared between those who used Patidegib Gel 2% or Vehicle Gel after 12 months.
Gorlin Syndrome
This phase II trial tests how well cemiplimab works in treating basal cell carcinoma of the head and neck that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) before surgery (neoadjuvant). Cemiplimab is a human recombinant monoclonal IgG4 antibody that may allow the body's immune system to work against tumor cells. Giving cemiplimab before surgery may make the tumor smaller and make it easier to remove.
Locally Advanced Basal Cell Carcinoma
This is a Phase 2, Single-Arm, Open-Label, Single Center, Proof of Concept Study to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Tirbanibulin Ointment 1% in Adult Subjects with superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC) on the neck, trunk, or extremities (excluding, axilla, anogenital, and face/scalp).

The purpose of this study is to compare how well tolerated and effective four different dosing schedules (two personalized, intermittent dosing schedules as compared to a fixed intermittent and continuous dosing regimen) work in people with advanced basal cell carcinoma.
Advanced Basal Cell Carcinoma
The purpose of this study is to find out more about how Basal Cell Carcimonas/BCCs grow and to learn more effective ways to monitor and treat these common cancers. This study will not provide any type of treatment for the participants' cancer; it is a 3-year observational study to monitor participants' cancer.
Basal Cell Carcinoma
The purpose of this study is to find out if radiation therapy (RT) guided by the new reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM)/optical coherence tomography (OCT) device is an effective treatment for basal cell carcinoma (BCC). The researchers will also look at the side effects from RT guided by the RCM/OCT device. In addition, will determine the quality of life before and after treatment by having the participant fill out questionnaires.
Basal Cell Carcinoma
This is an intent-to-treat, parallel design, multicenter randomized trial and the primary intervention is a double-blind comparison of Imiquimod (IMQ) vs. placebo cream for preventing basal cell carcinoma (BCC) of the skin on the face at one year and over 3 years after therapy. Participants will apply the IMQ or placebo cream to the face daily at bedtime for 12 weeks. This study will recruit 1630 Veterans at high risk of BCC from 17 VA medical centers.

This is a 2-part, open-label, multicenter, dose-escalation, proof-of-concept study with a safety run-in designed to assess the safety, tolerability, MTD, and objective antitumor efficacy of ascending dose strengths of VP-315 when administered intratumorally to adults with biopsy proven basal cell carcinoma (BCC). The study is expected to enroll approximately 80 subjects with a histological diagnosis of BCC in at least 1 eligible target lesion (confirmed by punch or shave biopsy).

This study will be a multicenter, prospective, open label, one-arm study intended to assess the Safety and Efficacy of EscharEx (EX-02) in the treatment of Basal Cell Carcinoma. In patients with one primary superficial or nodular basal cell carcinoma lesion with a diameter of 5-10mm (Histologically confirmed BCC) located on the trunk or upper extremities (not including the hands), with well-defined borders and no previous radiation therapy.
Superficial Basal Cell Carcinoma, Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma
This pilot study will examine the treatment of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) with laser technology under the guidance of imaging modalities to assist with surgical excision, including optical coherence tomography imaging (OCT) and reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM). The laser modality that we plan to use is the long-pulse Nd:YAG 1064nm laser, which is a nonablative laser already shown to effectively treat BCC. The addition of OCT and RCM has the opportunity to enhance outcomes by better targeting the treatment and permitting more precise monitoring of clearance. OCT is being used to enhance the effectiveness of Mohs Micrographic Surgery of these cancers by elucidating more definitive tumor margins. RCM has been shown to detect changes in the composition of cells consistent with BCC. We propose to use these imaging devices to guide the laser treatment to achieve optimal efficacy with minimized side-effects. Primary outcome measured include complete clearance of the BCC lesion, which will be determined through clinical examination, dermoscopy, imaging (OCT and/or RCM), and saucerization biopsy. Secondary outcome variables include the significance of lesion depth (by OCT and/or RCM), lateral extent (by OCT and/or RCM), BCC type, and anatomical region on rate of clearance and recurrence.

The purpose of this study is to better understand the immune response to basal cell carcinoma (BCC) treated with Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) in order to develop new methods of treating BCC. Previous research suggests that PDT alters the immune response, possibly in a way that could promote better tumor clearance when combined with other treatments. Overall, participation in this study will help the study team better understand the anti-tumor immune response when BCC is treated with PDT.

Part I is designed as a study of P-MNA application in healthy human volunteers. The goal of Part I is to determine several factors possibly affecting the rate and extent of microneedle array dissolution, such as anatomic location; age; duration of array exposure to the skin; and the criticality of proper array application to the skin. Part II will be a randomized study in which doxorubicin-containing arrays will be applied to subjects demonstrated by biopsy to have basal cell cancer. A subject will be randomized to one of four dose groups: placebo microneedle array and 50 µg, 100 µg, and 200 µg doses of doxorubicin in a tip-loaded, dissolvable microneedle arrays (D-MNA).
Basal Cell Carcinoma
A Phase 2b study looks at the safety and efficacy of a treatment that is being investigated for people with certain diseases. This study will be conducted at multiple centers in the United States where participants with Gorlin Syndrome, also known as basal cell nevus syndrome, will be randomly placed into two groups; one group will receive the active topical gel, the other a topical vehicle gel, also know as placebo. Participants will apply this topical product to their face once a day for 6 months. The study will be looking at the number of new BCCs that develop on the faces of all the participants during this time.

This phase 2, open label, dose escalation study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of various doses of STP705 administered as localized injection in patients with Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC). Goals: * To determine the safe and effective recommended dose of STP705 for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma. * Analysis of biomarkers common to BCC formation pathway including TGF-β1 and COX-2.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate anti-PD-1 Neoadjuvant therapy in Basal cell carcinoma to provide a better outcome when administered prior to surgery and provide a therapeutic strategy to avoid surgery altogether. The study team will gather information about how Basal cell carcinoma responds to Pembrolizumab prior to surgery and to gather information about recurrence rates. Pembrolizumab, is an investigational (experimental) drug that may improve the response of the immune system against cancer. Pembrolizumab is a manufactured antibody, much like the antibodies usually made by the human body to fight off infection. The idea behind developing this experimental drug is to stimulate the body's immune system to kill cancer cells. Pembrolizumab antibody has been specifically made to block a program cell death-1 (PD-1) protein receptor, which is found on cells of the immune system. PD-1 receptor seems to slow down the immune response. Blocking PD-1 with pembrolizumab antibody may make the immune response more active and may improve the response of the immune system against cancer. Pembrolizumab is currently FDA approved for use in other malignancies. It has been used to treat a number of other diseases such as certain types of lung cancer, cervical cancer and lymphoma. The use of Pembrolizumab in this study is experimental because it is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the treatment of Basal cell carcinoma.

Randomized coomparative trial of a 30% solution of ascorbic acid in 95% dimethylsulfoxide applied topically twice a day for 8 weeks vs 5% imiquimod cream in the treatment biopsy proven basal cell carcinomas inotherwise healthy adult patients. Outcome measure was biopsy proven resolution of the carcinoma.
Basal Cell Carcinoma
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, stratified, vehicle-controlled study of the efficacy and safety of Patidegib Topical Gel, 2%, applied topically twice daily to the face of adult participants with non-Gorlin HF-BCC (high-frequency basal cell carcinoma). Participants will be randomized (1:1) to receive either Patidegib Topical Gel, 2%, or Vehicle for 9 months. Randomization will be stratified by gender. The primary endpoint is the number of nSEB (surgically eligible basal cell carcinoma) that develop on the face over the 9 month period. The primary end point will be assessed by imaging and tracking of BCCs consistently throughout the study in order to identify nSEBs.
Recurrent Basal Cell Carcinoma
This study is to determine the recommended phase II dose (RP2D) and schedule of CX-4945 when administered orally twice daily for 28 consecutive days, in a 4-week (28 days) cycle, in patients with locally advanced or metastatic basal cell carcinoma (BCC). The safety and tolerability of CX-4945, preliminary evidence of antitumor effect, and the effect of CX-4945 treatment on the Hh signaling pathway will also be evaluated in this study.

This study is researching an experimental drug called cemiplimab. The study is focused on Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma (CSCC) and Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC). The aim of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability (how your body reacts to the drug) of cemiplimab (also known as REGN2810). The first part of the study tested several different doses of cemiplimab given weekly for 12 weeks. The study is also looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug * To see effect of cemiplimab on the tumor * How much study drug is in the blood at different times

This is a global, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, stratified, vehicle-controlled study of the efficacy and safety of Patidegib Topical Gel, 2%, applied topically twice daily to the face of adult participants with Gorlin syndrome. Participants will be required to apply the investigational product for 12 months. The primary endpoint is a comparison between the two treatment arms of the number of new BCCs that develop over the 12 month period.

This is a Phase I study in participants with superficial or nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), designed to assess dose limiting toxicities and maximum tolerated dose, efficacy, safety, and tolerability of dissolvable, tip-loaded, microneedle arrays containing doxorubicin (D-MNA).
