Combined Cryotherapy With Compression Versus Cryotherapy Alone After Orthopaedic Surgery

Maryland · Bethesda, MD

Cryotherapy has been used to enhance recovery after orthopaedic surgery. Many devices are available but few can guarantee a temperature regulation during a prolonged time and therefore have been criticized. The arrival of new advanced cryotherapy devices made it possible to test the effect of prolonged cooling on rehabilitation after arthroscopic orthopaedic procedures.

MRI/Ultrasound Fusion Guided Prostate Cryotherapy

Florida · Miami Lakes, FL

Registration of Prostate Cancer patients undergoing Prostate Cryotherapy guided by Mutiparametric-MRI (MP-MRI) highlighting biopsy confirmed regions. The primary outcome measure is 5 year oncological control. Secondary aim is lack of progression beyond the prostate gland. The aim of intervention is to eradicate prostate cancer disease in the treated area while imposing no or minimal deleterious effects in quality of life.

Prospective Database of Clinical Outcomes Following Cryotherapy for Ablation of Clinically Localized Prostate Cancer

New York · New York, NY

This will be a prospectively maintained research database. The purpose is to record baseline parameters and treatment outcomes following of Cryotherapy for ablation of clinically localized prostate cancer.

Impact of Cryotherapy Spray (Tru-Freeze) for the Eradication of Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia (ICE-GAVE)

Florida · Jacksonville, FL

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of cryotherapy spray treatment for eradication of gastric antral vascular ectasia by measuring the change in hemoglobin levels and transfusion requirements in the first 6 months of cryotherapy treatment compared to the previous 6 months

Recruiting

One Up, One Down: Analyzing Patient Preference on Cryotherapy Machine Tubing Placement

California · Orange, CA

The purpose of this research study is to better understand patient preference and their satisfaction rates with cryotherapy machines based on the direction of the tubing. This study will evaluate both satisfaction and pain of patients who use the cryotherapy machines in the two groups: tubing facing towards the head, and the other with tubing facing toward the feet.

Spray Cryotherapy for the Management of Benign Central Airway Stenosis (Cryo-BAS)

Massachusetts · Boston, MA

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare spray cryotherapy plus balloon dilatation versus current standard of Care (SoC - steroid injection, radial cuts and balloon dilatation) in patients with benign airway stenosis with simple stenosis. The main question\[s\] investigators aim to answer are: 1. What is the need for reintervention and time to reintervention in participants with benign airway stenosis with simple stenosis who receive spray cryotherapy plus balloon dilatation versus standard of care alone? 2. To evaluate patient experience, physiological, anatomical changes, health care utilization and safety of the SCT plus balloon dilatation versus standard of care alone. Researchers will compare spray cryotherapy plus balloon dilatation versus current standard of Care (SoC - steroid injection, radial cuts and balloon dilatation) in patients with benign airway stenosis with simple stenosis to see if it reduces the need of re intervention. Participants will surgery and receive one of the two interventions.

Recruiting

Cryotherapy in Combination with Red Light PDT for Actinic Keratosis of Full Face

New Jersey

40 patients randomized 1:1 to receive cryotherapy followed by 10% ALA gel Red light PDT vs. to 10% ALA gel Red Light PDT followed by cryotherapy.

Recruiting

Cryotherapy & Oxaliplatin

New York · New York, NY

The primary objective of this study is to determine if cryotherapy is beneficial to patients with colon cancer who are receiving oxaliplatin in the prevention of developing chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy.

Recruiting

Focal Ablation With Focal Cryotherapy or HIFU for the Treatment of Men With Localized Prostate Cancer

California · Sacramento, CA

This clinical trial evaluates the effectiveness of focal ablation with either focal cryotherapy or high intensity frequency ultrasound for the treatment of men with localized prostate cancer. Focal cryotherapy kills tumor cells by freezing them. High intensity frequency ultrasound uses highly focused ultrasound waves to produce heat and destroy tumor cells.

A Registry to Gather Real World Use Data on the Cerene® Cryotherapy Device

New Jersey · Ohio

Channel Medsystems, Inc., the manufacturer of the Cerene® Cryotherapy Device (Cerene), is initiating a prospective, observational registry, the Progress registry, to gather data during real world utilization of the Cerene® Cryotherapy Device (Cerene). The primary objective of this registry is to bridge the gap between clinical results and outcomes achieved and reported during the pivotal study of Cerene and those obtained during its real-world use.
