This is a prospective case series evaluating the efficacy and safety of NeoThelium FT Amnion Skin Graft in the Mangement of Open Wounds
This study is intended to provide information from subjects who currently have painful, chronically open wounds and assess the pain reduction capacity of KeraStat® Gel with Morphine. In gathering data from subjects who have baseline pain from their chronically open wounds, the investigators can then evaluate the capacity of KeraStat® Gel plus Morphine in reducing the subjects daily pain levels, pain associated with dressing changes, and pain medication consumption.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of Micro/nanobubbles (MNB's) for the healing of acute and chronic wounds.
Based on personal experience and the literature it is reasonable expectation that Vancomycin is a viable treatment in a direct contact form to eliminate MRSA from open wounds in order to heal the wounds by conventional means. The key question in my research has been to measure the effectiveness of my Vancomycin Gel by culturing the wound, applying the Gel in a controlled manner and then culturing the wound after one week. The end point to achieve in the process, is a clinical response of accelerated healing and negative culture report. Another question to solve is the duration of potency and stability of the Vancomycin gel over time.
