Photos will be taken at Baseline, Day 30, and Day 60, and expert skin grading will take place at Baseline and Day 60.
Skin Aging
As the body ages, the skin experiences natural changes in structure and composition. These changes may manifest visibly as increased skin dryness, wrinkling, and a loss of firmness/elasticity. In this double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, the investigators will recruit healthy men and women with mild to moderate signs of skin aging and randomly assign them to either receive a HyaCera™ or placebo for 12 weeks. The investigators will perform a series of objective and subjective measurements to assess changes in skin condition. The investigators hypothesize that consumption of HyaCera™ leads to improvements in the general condition of the skin including skin hydration, crow's feet wrinkling, and other skin aging parameters.
Skin Aging
This clinical trial aims to assess the effect of providing one avocado per day on skin health in comparison with a control group maintaining their habitual diets. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two equally sized groups. Both groups will be instructed to continue to follow their habitual diet but the intervention group will receive one avocado per day. Participants will be followed for outcomes for a four-month period.

Silk is a naturally occurring protein polymer that is approved for medical use by the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Silk fibroin fiber biomaterial has shown promising results for tissue regeneration demonstrated through in vivo and in vitro animal models. The investigators of this study have previously shown that patients' report improvement in common skin aging findings including wrinkles, sagginess, and dry skin. The investigators will continue this assessment of patients' skin perception as well as add on objective measures of skin resilience, elasticity, and hydration. The investigators will provide participants with a demographic survey, and the FACE-Q survey, a validated survey, prior to administration of NanoSilk Cosmo, to assess perception of aging, satisfaction with facial appearance, satisfaction with skin. The participant will undergo baseline evaluation of several objective measures of skin hydration, elasticity and overall healthy using non-invasive devices (Courage+Khazaka Corneometer Probe, Courage+Khazaka Electronic GmbH Cutometer Dual MPA 580, and VISIA-CA GEN 7). The participants will be provided with 30ml of the NanoSilk Cosmo and with extensive instruction on administration of the product. Participants will return to clinic after 4 weeks of using the product to perform the FACE-Q and re-evaluation of several objective measures of the skin using non-invasive devices (Courage+Khazaka Corneometer Probe, Courage+Khazaka Electronic GmbH Cutometer Dual MPA 580, and VISIA-CA GEN 7).
Aging

Assess structural differences between young and aged skin on the face. To identify the structural characteristics of atrophic acne scars relative to normal skin on the face. To explore characteristics of cellulite relative to normal skin on the thigh in young and aged skin.
Skin Care
The study is to compare the expression of both keratin 16 and 17 before and after application of sulforaphane on both photoprotected and photoexposed area, and to determine whether these findings alter skin aging as well as skin response to ultraviolet (UV) and visible light exposure.
Skin Aging
In this exploratory study, we hope to learn if treatment of broadband light with infrared light can alter the molecular pathways associated with aging. Secondary exploratory objective is to see if there are any visible effects of this light treatment on human skin.
Aging
This study aims to compare the expression of keratins before and after application of sulforaphane (SF) to determine whether this agent alters skin fragility seen in both intrinsic and extrinsic skin aging and UV light exposure.
Aging
There has been increasing evidence for different rates of natural aging in humans and one of the best organs to study human aging is skin. Studies have demonstrated anti-aging effects of topical agents (such as creams, gels, lotions, or ointments) and one of them, retinol or vitamin A, was shown to decrease fine wrinkling in skin of older individuals. Additionally, studies of retinol in humans have largely occurred in white populations and so this study aims to focus on skin aging in individuals of East Asian descent as they represent a majority of the world population. This study aims to better characterize the molecular basis of rejuvenation effects and to potentially discover new topical agents with similar and/or more effective preservation of skin youthfulness.
Intrinsic Aging of Skin
The purpose of this study is to see how many patients develop hair, skin and nail changes due to cancer treatments. The investigators would like to study the clinical factors, genetic markers, and impact on patients' health-related quality of life to learn more about who is at greater risk. We trust that the study will improve our understanding of how cancer patients feel about their skin, hair, and nail conditions. This information will help us determine the burden on breast cancer patients and survivors. It will also help us learn how to prevent these conditions and it may improve the way we treat them and counsel patients.
Non-Metastatic Breast Cancer
Skin aging is a complex process involving genetic and environmental factors. The investigators hope to learn more about how human genes and their function can contribute to skin aging and human health.
Ageing
The purpose of this study is to determine the comparative effects of the PlasmaJet neutral argon plasma system and the Rhytec Portrait PRS nitrogen plasma system in the treatment of aging facial skin

Photoaging
Previous studies have shown that cranberry phytochemicals scavenge reactive carbonyls. Cranberry polyphenols have been reported to attenuate collagen degradation and inhibit oxidative stress in human cells. We hypothesize that cranberry juice consumption will attenuate skin photoaging and improve skin health in women via alleviate oxidative stress.
Skin Health
Topical therapy with retinoids is the only proven medical therapy for aged/photoaged human skin. However, topical therapy with retinoids often result in unwanted cutaneous dermatitis, including erythema and scaling. The reseachers intend to investigate the dose, frequency of use, and time dependence of topical retinol-induced dermatitis. The researchers intend to evaluate retinoid-induced dermatitis biochemically, including retinol regulation of retinoid responsive genes that control retinoid metabolism and serve as markers for retinoid bioactivity. The researchers will also investigate the role of EGF receptor pathway in retinoid-induced dermatitis.
