Study of the RelayPro Thoracic Stent-Graft in Subjects With an Acute, Complicated Type B Aortic Dissection
Description

This clinical trial is a prospective, multicenter, non-blinded, non-randomized study designed to assess the RelayPro thoracic endografts in the treatment of acute, complicated type B aortic dissection. The primary endpoint will measure all-cause mortality at 30 days post-procedure.

TERMINATED
Digital Home Blood Pressure Monitoring in Type B Aortic Dissection Patients
Description

The primary objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of home digital blood pressure monitoring in aiding providers to maintain blood pressure within a therapeutic range in type B aortic dissection patients upon discharge from the hospital.

ACTIVE_NOT_RECRUITING
Registry of Patients With Acute/Subacute Type B Aortic Dissection Treated by Means of the STABILISE Technique (STABILISE)
Description

The aim of the study is to evaluate results of patients treated with the STABILISE technique for acute/subacute aortic dissection. Results and postoperative events are reported in accordance with the current reporting standards for endovascular aortic repair prepared and revised by the Ad Hoc Committee for Standardized Reporting Practices in Vascular Surgery of The Society for Vascular Surgery/American Association for Vascular Surgery

RECRUITING
ACute Uncomplicated Type b Aortic Dissection: Endovascular Repair vs. Best Medical Therapy
Description

The purpose of the study is to conduct a randomized controlled trial comparing best medical therapy (BMT) alone to BMT with thoracic endovascular aortic repair (BMT+TEVAR) for uncomplicated acute type B aortic dissection.

COMPLETED
Study to Evaluate the Clinical Performance of the Valiant Thoracic Stent Graft With the Captivia Delivery System (Valiant Captivia) for the Treatment of Acute, Complicated Type B Aortic Dissections
Description

The purpose of this study is to determine if the Valiant stent graft is safe and effective in treating patients who have a thoracic dissection. A thoracic dissection is a tear in the wall of the aorta, that causes blood to flow between the layers of the aorta and force the layers apart (dissect). This condition is a medical emergency and can quickly lead to death. Since stent grafting has been an effective way to treat other aortic conditions such as aneurysms (bulge in aorta wall), it is believed that the device would be effective in treating dissections. Information will be collected on the performance of the device for 5 years.

COMPLETED
Evaluation of the GORE Conformable TAG® Thoracic Endoprosthesis for Treatment of Acute Complicated Type B Aortic Dissection
Description

The primary objective of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of the GORE Conformable TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis (CTAG) for treatment of subjects with acute complicated type B aortic dissection.

RECRUITING
IMPRoving Outcomes in Vascular DisEase- Aortic Dissection
Description

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether an upfront invasive strategy of TEVAR plus medical therapy reduces the occurrence of a composite endpoint of all-cause death or major aortic complications compared to an upfront conservative strategy of medical therapy with surveillance for deterioration in patients with uncomplicated type B aortic dissection.

APPROVED_FOR_MARKETING
Zenith® Dissection Endovascular System in the Treatment of Patients With Aortic Dissections
Description

The Zenith® Dissection extended study is to collect confirmatory safety and effectiveness data on the Zenith® Dissection Endovascular System in the treatment of acute, complicate Type B aortic dissection.

COMPLETED
Evaluation of the Valiant Mona LSA Thoracic Stent Graft System in Descending TAA and Chronic Dissections
Description

The purpose of the Feasibility study is to characterize the safety of the Valiant Mona LSA Thoracic Stent Graft System, including an assessment of the safety and effectiveness of the device acutely and at the 30 day visit in the identified subject population. This study will also evaluate the current instructions for use and may direct changes to the delivery and deployment steps. The purpose of the expansion to the Feasibility Study is to characterize the Valiant Mona LSA Thoracic Stent Graft System, in particular to assess the safety and effectiveness of the device acutely and at the 30 day visit, in subjects enrolled with chronic, Type B dissections.

COMPLETED
