8 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the use and efficacy of the Encore Foundation Knee System in a group of 200 patients for whom data has already been collected.
The H3 TAR Prosthesis was approved by FDA (P160036) on June 4, 2019. Continued approval of the premarket approval application (PMA) is contingent upon the submission of periodic reports (Annual Report), required under 21 CFR 814.84. In order to provide continued reasonable assurance of the safety and effectiveness of the PMA device, data from this post-approval study must be submitted to FDA in a PMA Post-Approval Study Report per the requirements set forth in the approval.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Encore Mobile-Bearing Knee.
The purpose of this study is to compare the survivorship and efficacy of the Encore 3DKnee™ system with that of the Encore MJS™ Knee System in a group of 600 patients for whom data collection is already under way.
This phase Ib trial studies the side effects of nivolumab and to see how well it works in treating patients with autoimmune disorders and cancer that has spread to other places in the body or cannot removed by surgery. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
Macrophage Activation Syndrome (MAS) is a rare, life-threatening condition characterized by uncontrolled hyperinflammation which may develop on the background of systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (sJIA) or Adult-onset Still's Disease (AOSD). Emapalumab is a monoclonal antibody neutralizing interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma), a key cytokine which contributes to the inflammation and tissue damage seen in MAS. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of emapalumab in sJIA or AOSD participants developing MAS, presenting an inadequate response to high dose glucocorticoid treatment.
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of NC-503 compared to placebo in patients with secondary (AA) amyloidosis using a composite assessment of clinical improvement/worsening of both renal and gastrointestinal functions.
This study relies on the use of a smartphone application (SOMA) that the investigators developed for tracking daily mood, pain, and activity status in acute pain, chronic pain, and healthy controls over four months. The primary goal of the study is to use fluctuations in daily self-reported symptoms to identify computational predictors of acute-chronic pain transition, pain recovery, and/or chronic pain maintenance or flareups. The general study will include anyone with current acute or chronic pain, while a smaller sub-study will use a subset of patients from the chronic pain group who have been diagnosed with chronic low back pain, failed back surgery syndrome, or fibromyalgia. These sub-study participants will first take part in one in-person EEG testing session while completing simple interoception and reinforcement learning tasks and then begin daily use of the SOMA app. Electrophysiologic and behavioral data from the EEG testing session will be used to determine predictors of treatment response in the sub-study.
