Description

To prospectively compare non-complex biliary stone clearance using fluoroscopy/radiation-free direct solitary cholangioscopy (DSC) utilizing the SpyGlass™ system with non-complex biliary stone clearance using standard endoscopic retrograde cholangiography (ERC).

Feasibility of Endoscopic Ultrasound Based Biliary Stone Removal Without Fluoroscopy
Description

To assess the feasibility and success of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) directed biliary stone removal without use of fluoroscopy. Success for this study will be defined as the successful removal of all stones from the bile duct without the use of fluoroscopy. Fluoroscopy will only be used at the end of a presumed successful procedure to confirm that all stones are removed.

Electrohydraulic Versus Laser Lithotripsy for Treatment of Difficult to Remove Biliary Stones
Description

Bile duct stones that can't be removed by conventional means can often be removed after fragmentation by shock waves (lithotripsy). The shock waves that are used for fragmentation of these stones are generated by electric sparks (electrohydraulic lithotripsy) or laser (laser lithotripsy). Although both techniques have been used for many years, there are no studies comparing the efficacy of the two. The purpose of this study is to find out which technique is more effective.

Percutaneous Cholangiopancreatoscopy Registry
Description

The Percutaneous Cholangiopancreatoscopy (PCPS) registry is an observational, multicentric, prospective, and retrospective registry of patients undergoing the percutaneous cholangiopancreatoscopy procedure at sites across the United States. In the retrospective component of the study, clinical and procedural data regarding patients who have undergone clinical indicated percutaneous cholangiopancreatoscopy procedure in the past will be collected from all the registry sites and stored in a secure database. The prospective component of the registry will run for three years at each site where patients undergoing the clinically indicated percutaneous cholangiopancreatoscopy procedure will be enrolled in the study, and the patients' data will be collected whenever the patients present to interventional radiology (IR) for a procedure or clinic visit.

Interventional Endoscopy Database for Pancreatico-biliary, Gastrointestinal and Esophageal Disorders
Description

Our institution performs therapeutic ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography ), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Interventional Endoscopy in around 1000 patients a year. Procedures such as biliary and/or pancreatic sphincterotomy, stents placement (metallic or plastic) and removal for revision, cysts and pseudocysts drainage are conducted in patients suffering from pancreatico-biliary disorders, gastrointestinal disorders and esophageal disorders. The investigators would like to assess prospectively the efficacy and safety of these routine procedures to permit identification of technical details about the procedures or other factors which might be associated with outcome or results. Assessment of these details would help us with problem identification and recommendations to improve health outcomes and quality of life in these patients.

Needle-Knife Fistulotomy Vs. Standard Cannulation Trial
Description

Needle-knife fistulotomy (NKF) is traditionally used to achieve biliary access when standard cannulation (SC) techniques are unsuccessful. Based on technical factors and the design of prior studies, the literature suggests NKF should be reserved for expert advanced endoscopists. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of NKF compared to SC for primary biliary access performed by advanced endoscopists with a range of experience including advanced endoscopy trainees.

T-EUS for Gastrointestinal Disorders: A Multicenter Registry
Description

The purpose of this registry is to record information and evaluate the impact of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Guided Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) on the management of pancreatico-biliary disorders. The registry will evaluate efficacy, safety and technical success of the Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)Guided Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. The safety and efficacy of various EUS-Guided ERCP procedures have been assessed in a series of studies. This multi-center registry has been initiated: * To document the impact of EUS-Guided ERCP procedures on the management of pancreatico-biliary disorders including malignancies. * To assess the clinical and technical success rates of EUS-Guided ERCPs for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Design is retrospective and prospective registry study. Procedures that will be captured include: 1. EUS-Coils placement 2. EUS Glue injection 3. EUS-Fiducial placement 4. EUS-Neurolysis 5. EUS-Stent placement 6. EUS-alcohol injection 7. EUS-fluid collection, abscess or cavity drainage 8. EUS guided ductal drainage 9. EUS-guided Ablation 10. EUS-guided anastomosis 11. EUS Guided ERCP for gallbladder, pancreatic duct or biliary duct drainage
