4 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
This prospective observational post-market clinical study will collect data in the United States to primarily support the re-launch of the re-designed Beacon Tip Sizing Catheter and Slip-Catheter Beacon Tip Catheter \& Shuttle Select Slip-Catheter (Visceral and Cerbral) for a Conformité Européenne (CE) Mark application in the European Union (EU). Additionally, the data from this study may be used to support regulatory approval in other countries/regions. The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety and performance of these catheters in accordance with the Intended Use through the end of index procedure, and through 30 days post procedure, (as applicable as data is available) to ensure an acceptable benefit:risk ratio.
Brain injuries are common and challenging problems faced by emergency physicians. These diagnoses may include traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, ruptured cerebral aneurysms, unruptured cerebral aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations, which require neurological, neurosurgical, and/or endovascular treatment.
This study will be a longitudinal multiple-visit observational study, done to identify possible bioindicators of recovery and repair of motor corticospinal pathways which may be targeted by future interventions in infants with perinatal stroke. 65 participants will be recruited and complete 1 visit at time point 1 (0-2 months), and 2 visits at each timepoints 2-5 with windows of +- 4 weeks (3-6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months). Visits will consist of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) assessment during the child's natural sleep, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Motor Behavioral Assessments.
The primary objective of this multicenter randomized controlled study is to compare the safety and efficacy of minimally invasive hematoma evacuation with the Artemis Neuro Evacuation Device to best medical management for the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).
