The purpose of this study is to see whether the combination of a muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory drug is more effective at relieving pain in patients with neck strains or whiplash than either of the two medications alone.
Muscle sprains of the back and neck are very common. In addition to pain and antiinflammatory medications the use of either cold or hot packs has been recommended. In the current study we will compare ice packs and heat packs to see which is more effective at relieving pain from back and neck sprains while in the Emergency Department.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of escalating doses of RPTR-168 as a monotherapy in patients with HPV-16 E6/E7 positive tumors (HNSCC, cervical) and melanoma.
This phase I research protocol is designed to assess immunogenicity and clinical endpoints in patients with human papillomavirus (HPV) 16 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN)2/3. The protocol tests the use of artesunate in suppository formulation applied intravaginally in patients with cervical dysplasia (CIN2/3). The primary endpoint is to determine and evaluate the safety, tolerability, and feasibility of intravaginal administration of artesunate in health women with CIN2/3.
The goal of the current project is to assess performance of the Bounceless Control sports bra versus: (1) the Shefit Ultimate Sports bra, and (2) conventional bra as worn by participants in a variety of athletic activities.
Two prominent osteopathic physician researchers have studied cranial somatic dysfunction in newborns. Dr Viola Frymann published a paper in 1966 on the presence of somatic dysfunction involving 1250 infants. Dr. Jane Carreiro evaluated 1600 newborns in 1993 for cranial somatic dysfunction. This observational study is intended to continue their work in exploring the presence of cranial somatic dysfunction in newborns. The hypothesis is that there is an increased incidence of somatic dysfunction in newborns birthed by primigravid women and in newborns who experienced a longer second stage of labor.
This is a Phase 1 open-label, multicenter study of the safety and tolerability, immunogenic effects, antitumor activity, and pharmacodynamics of SQZ-PBMC-HPV as monotherapy and in combination with atezolizumab or other immune checkpoint inhibitors in HLA-A\*02+ patients with recurrent, locally advanced or metastatic human papillomavirus strain 16 positive (HPV16+) solid tumors. The study includes patients with anal, rectal, cervical, head and neck, penile, vulvar, or vaginal cancer.
