Biospecimen Collection and Testing for the Prevalence of Anal Dysplasia and Anal Cancer in Patients with Cervical, Vaginal and Vulvar Dysplasia and Cancer
Description

This trial studies the prevalence of anal dysplasia and anal cancer in patients with cervical, vaginal, and vulvar dysplasia and cancer. Studying samples collected from patients in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about the human papillomavirus and how often anal cancer occurs in patients with cervix, vagina, or vulvar cancer.

Artesunate Ointment for the Treatment of High Grade Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia (HSIL VIN2/3)
Description

This is a Phase I, proof-of-concept treatment study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and feasibility of topical artesunate ointment to treat high grade vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (HSIL VIN2/3).

COMPLETED
A Randomized Trial of Surgical Treatments for Vulvar and Vaginal Dysplasia
Description

1. To compare the recurrence rate between the use of laser vaporization and ultrasonic surgical aspiration in the treatment of vulvar and vaginal dysplasias 2. To compare healing related complications, post-operative pain, and scarring between the two procedures.

COMPLETED
Evaluation of VGX-3100 and Electroporation Alone or in Combination With Imiquimod for the Treatment of HPV-16 and/or HPV-18 Related Vulvar HSIL (Also Referred as: VIN 2 or VIN 3)
Description

The purpose of this study is to test the safety and efficacy of an investigational immunotherapy VGX-3100, in combination with a study device, to treat women with vulvar high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) \[vulval intraepithelial neoplasia 2 or 3 (VIN 2 or VIN 3)\] associated with human papilloma virus (HPV) types 16 and/or 18. VGX-3100 is being assessed as an alternative to surgery with the potential to clear the underlying HPV infection. For more information visit our study website at: www.VINresearchstudy.com

RECRUITING
Phase II Study of Artesunate Ointment for the Treatment of Vulvar High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions (Vulvar HSIL, VIN2/3)
Description

This is a phase II double-blind, placebo-controlled study of artesunate ointment for the treatment of HPV-associated vulvar HSIL (usual type vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia 2/3).

RECRUITING
InAdvance: Surveillance, Prevention, and Interception in a Population at Risk for Cancer
Description

This research study is creating a way to collect and store specimens and information from participants who may be at an increased risk of developing cancer, or has been diagnosed with an early phase of a cancer or a family member who has a family member with a precursor condition for cancer. * The objective of this study is to identify exposures as well as clinical, molecular, and pathological changes that can be used to predict early development of cancer, malignant transformation, and risks of progression to symptomatic cancer that can ultimately be fatal. * The ultimate goal is to identify novel markers of early detection and risk stratification to drive potential therapeutic approaches to intercept progression to cancer.
