6 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
DPN is a disorder among darkly pigmented patients, manifested by small, benign, variants of seborrheic keratoses, predominantly on the face. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of a 585 nm PDL for the treatment of Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra, and compare it to therapy with curettage (scraping the lesions off) and electrodesiccation (burning the lesions off).
This research study will test how well hyperpigmentation treatment works for subjects with mild-to-moderate facial hyperpigmentation. The study will also test if the hyperpigmentation treatment causes any irritation. For 12 weeks of the study, participants will use the assigned treatment, along with a provided cleanser and sunscreen.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of PDT for treatment of mild to severe actinic keratosis on the face and scalp in the expanded treatment field using 3 tubes of BF-200 ALA 10% gel (Ameluz®) in conjunction with the BF-RhodoLED® XL PDT lamp.
This Phase III study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of KX2-391 Ointment in adult participants when applied to an area of skin containing 4-8 stable, clinically typical Actinic Keratosis (AK) lesions on the face or scalp.
5 Day study to assess how quickly a topical acne product begins to work.
This is a single-center study using intra-individual comparison (right half-face versus left half-face) to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of DispersinB Acne Cleanser for treatment of acne in adults. An initial sample size of 24 subjects is planned to be randomized in order to provide proof of concept efficacy and tolerability of the product. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Percent of subjects rated "Clear" and "Almost Clear" on a 5-point scale 0=clear; 4=severe) at 12 weeks 2. Change in inflammatory and noninflammatory lesion count per half-face at 12 weeks Researchers will compare each half-face: * one half facial wash with DispersinB Acne Cleanser and 4% Benzoyl Peroxide. * one half facial wash with 4% Benzoyl Peroxide only Subjects will use the DispersinB Acne Cleanser on the assigned facial side for 5 minutes and then will use the provided 4% Benzoyl peroxide facial wash to wash entire face for daily (evening) use.
