Phase 2a Study of DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm for Injection in Dynamic Forehead Lines and Glabellar Lines
Description

This is a Phase 2a open-label, single-arm study to evaluate the effects of DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm (DAXI) for Injection on the treatment of dynamic forehead lines (FHL) and glabellar lines (GL). Approximately 40 subjects (18 years of age and above) with moderate to severe GL and FHL (all assessed at maximum contraction) will be screened for eligibility with the goal of enrolling and treating 30 subjects to receive DAXI for injection after providing informed consent. The primary objective of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of the combined treatment of two upper facial regions with DAXI for injection.

COMPLETED
A Study To Assess the Adverse Effects and Change in Condition of OnabotulinumtoxinA X Injection in Adult Participants With Forehead Lines
Description

Facial lines that develop from repeated facial expression, such as forehead lines (FHL), are typically treated by selectively weakening specific muscles with small quantities of botulinum toxin. OnabotulinumtoxinA X is being investigated as another form of treatment to treat FHL by inhibiting the release of the neurotransmitter that causes the overactivity of the muscles responsible for the severity of these facial lines. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and change in condition of 3 doses of OnabotulinumtoxinA X for the treatment of moderate to severe forehead lines. Study doctors will determine if a subject is eligible for the study. If so, the subject will be randomized into 1 of the 4 groups, called treatment arms. There is a 1 in 4 chance that a participant will be assigned to placebo. Around 120 adult participants with FHL will be enrolled in the study in approximately 10 sites in the United States. Participants will receive either intramuscular injections of onabotulinumtoxinA X or placebo. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular monthly visits during the study at the study site.

COMPLETED
Safety and Efficacy Study of the Simultaneous Treatment of Upper Facial Lines (Horizontal Forehead Lines, Glabellar Frown Lines and Lateral Canthal Lines) in Subjects With Moderate to Severe Upper Facial Lines
Description

The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of NT 201 (active ingredient: Botulinum (neuro)toxin type A, free from complexing proteins) in the combined treatment of wrinkles in the upper face (Upper Facial Lines \[UFL\]): Horizontal Forehead Lines \[HFL\], Glabellar Frown Lines \[GFL\], and Lateral Canthal Lines \[LCL\]). It is a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study with a placebo-control main period (MP) followed by an open-label extension (OLEX) period.

COMPLETED
Efficacy and Safety of DaxibotulinumtoxinA (DAXI) for Injection for Treatment of Forehead Lines (Frontalis)
Description

This is a phase 2a, multicenter, open-label, dose-escalation study to evaluate treatment of moderate or severe dynamic forehead lines (FHL) (frontalis) in conjunction with treatment of the glabellar complex.

Longitudinal Evaluation and Real-world Evidence of NT201
Description

This study is to collect long-term real-world evidence data from clinics in several countries in order to obtain an improved understanding of the safety and effectiveness of incobotulinumtoxinA in botulinum neurotoxin type A (BoNT-A) treatment naïve participants.

COMPLETED
Efficacy and Safety of DaxibotulinumtoxinA (DAXI) for Injection for Treatment of Upper Facial Lines
Description

This is a Phase 2, multicenter, open-label, single-arm study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of DaxibotulinumtoxinA for injection (DAXI for injection) in the treatment of Glabellar Lines (GL), Dynamic Forehead Lines (FHL), and Lateral Canthal Lines(LCL)

COMPLETED
A Study to Evaluate Participant Satisfaction and Natural Outcomes Following Administration of BOTOX Cosmetic Injections in Adult Participants for Treatment of Upper Facial Lines
Description

Facial lines that develop from repeated facial expression, such as glabellar lines (GL), lateral canthal lines (LCL), and forehead lines (FHL), are typically treated by selectively weakening specific muscles with small quantities of botulinum toxin. The purpose of this study is to evaluate participant satisfaction and natural outcomes following the administration of BOTOX Cosmetic in adult participants with upper facial lines (GL, LCL, and FHL). This is an open-label study in which all participants will receive active study treatment. Around 100 adult participants with an assessment of moderate to severe GL, LCL, and FHL, will be enrolled at approximately 10 sites in the United States and Canada. Participants will receive BOTOX Cosmetic as intramuscular injections to the glabellar lines, lateral canthal lines, and forehead lines at Day 1. Participants will attend regular visits during the study. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments for side effects and questionnaires will be completed during regular study visits.

COMPLETED
Study Evaluating the Treatment of Forehead and/or Glabellar Lines With the CRYO-TOUCH III Device
Description

myoscience Inc. (Redwood City, CA) has developed a device for a novel, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedure designed to soften hyperdynamic facial lines. The myoscience Cryo-Touch III device uses well-established principles of cryobiology to cause localized reduction in muscle activity resulting in a reversible reduction in facial animation and the appearance of facial lines. The device operates on well-established cryobiology principles; that localized exposure to controlled low temperature conditions can alter tissue function. The therapy treats targeted motor nerves with low temperatures via a cold probe in the form of an assembly of small diameter needles, creating a highly localized treatment zone around the probe. The thermal algorithm is designed to produce a reversible loss of nerve conduction resulting in a temporary decrease in muscle contractility. Prior studies of Cryo-Touch, Cryo-Touch II and Cryo-Touch III have provided strong evidence of effectiveness and safety for applications in this indication. The goal of the study described herein is to investigate optimized algorithms and ongoing safety and effectiveness.
