Testing Cabozantinib in Patients With Advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Tumors
Description

This phase III trial studies cabozantinib to see how well it works compared with placebo in treating patients with neuroendocrine or carcinoid tumors that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). Cabozantinib is a chemotherapy drug known as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and it targets specific tyrosine kinase receptors, that when blocked, may slow tumor growth.

Ribociclib in Treating Patients With Advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors of Foregut Origin
Description

This phase II trial studies how well ribociclib works in treating patients with neuroendocrine tumors of the foregut, which includes the thymus, lung, stomach, and pancreas, that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced tumors). Ribociclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

COMPLETED
Study of Efficacy and Safety of PDR001 in Patients With Advanced or Metastatic, Well-differentiated, Non-functional Neuroendocrine Tumors of Pancreatic, Gastrointestinal (GI), or Thoracic Origin or Poorly-differentiated Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (GEP-NEC)
Description

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of PDR001 in patients with advanced or metastatic, well-differentiated, non-functional neuroendocrine tumors of pancreatic, gastrointestinal (GI), or thoracic origin or poorly-differentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (GEP-NEC) that progressed on prior treatment.

A Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of ENV-101 (Taladegib) in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors Harboring PTCH1 Loss of Function Mutations
Description

This study employs a 2-stage design that aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ENV- 101, a potent Hedgehog (Hh) pathway inhibitor, in patients with refractory advanced solid tumors characterized by loss of function (LOF) mutations in the Patched-1 (PTCH1) gene. Stage 1 of this study will enroll approximately 44 patients randomized between two dose levels. As appropriate, Stage 2 of the study will expand enrollment based on the results of Stage 1.

COMPLETED
Study of Lanreotide Autogel 120 mg in Patients With Non-functioning Entero- Pancreatic Endocrine Tumour
Description

The primary purpose of this extension study was to assess the long term safety of patients with nonfunctioning enteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumour (NET), who were treated with open label lanreotide Autogel (120 mg every 28 days) and who participated in a previous study, 2-55-52030-726 (NCT00353496).

RECRUITING
Effect on Body Movement and Mental Skills in Patients Who Received Gadolinium-based Contrast Media for Magnetic Resonance Examination Multiple Times Within 5 Years
Description

This study is a postmarketing requirement jointly carried out by four NDA holders (Bayer AG, Bracco, GE Healthcare and Guerbet) and the CRO IQVIA. The study aims to create detailed images of the organs and tissue of the human body during x-ray, CT-scan or MRI investigations, doctors are using contrast media (a kind of dye) which can be given to patients by injection into a blood vessel or by mouth. In this study researchers want to find out whether so called gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs) have an effect on body movement and mental skills when given to participants multiple times within 5 years. The study plans to enroll about 2076 participants suffering from a condition for which they are likely to have at least annually a MRI or another imaging examinations. Only adults up to 65 years will be considered to join this study. During the study duration of 5 years participants will receive annually a MRI or other imaging tests (such as CT-scan, x-ray) and will visit the study doctor at least 7 times for physical examinations, laboratory investigations and tests on body movement and mental skills.
