6 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
In collaboration with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Office for Violence Against Women (OVW) the Yale University team will evaluate the implementation process and impact of the U.S. Department of Justice's Domestic Violence Homicide Prevention Demonstration Initiative. This evaluation seeks to draw critical findings and potential lessons from the combined experience of the sites including: 1) how the models work in different communities; 2) the barriers and facilitators to implementing the models; and 3) outcomes of the model delivery. The evaluation team will also disseminate the findings with the goal of informing replication.

Primary outcome: Research participants and their network contacts will be followed over 6 months to assess whether a social work case management protocol results in reduction of trauma services recidivism and criminal violence arrests.
This study evaluates the impact of adaptive technology-based intervention (online, text and phone) "weWomenPlus" on safety, mental health and empowerment of abused immigrant women.
This study evaluates the impact of administering culturally-specific versions of the Danger Assessment (DA) tool followed by the tailored safety planning/referral via use of internet/smartphone-based safety decision aid (SDA) on immigrant, refugee and indigenous women's empowerment, safety and mental health. Half of survivors will receive tailored safety planning/referral based on their level of risk assessed by the DA, while the other half will receive non-DA informed usual safety planning/referral.
This study will determine whether a specialized Web site geared for the guardians of children whose one parent has murdered the other can increase guardian capabilities, reduce guardian stress, and improve child behavior and mental health.
