6 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the mechanisms by which minocycline effect blood pressure in individuals with treatment-resistant hypertension. The main questions it aims to answer are: * To what extent does minocycline lower blood pressure and are these effects different across races? * Are such blood pressure effects mediated through changes in gut microbiota, gut leakiness, systemic inflammation, neuroinflammation, or some combination of these? Participants will be randomly assigned to treatment with minocycline or placebo, treated daily for 3 months, to evaluate these questions.
Evaluate the cardiovascular properties of MANP in AA with Hypertension
The purpose of this study is to use ambulatory blood pressure monitors to investigate whether enalapril is superior to lisinopril in managing nocturnal hypertension in patients with resistant hypertension currently treated with daytime angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors.
The purpose of this study is the comparative evaluation of systolic blood pressure (SBP) lowering, atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence and clinical data in patients with paroxysmal/persistent AF and resistant hypertension, undergoing AF ablation alone or combined with percutaneous renal denervation.
Blood pressure measurements by three methods Office Blood Pressure Measurement (OBPM), Automated Office Blood Pressure Measurement (AOBPM), and Home Blood Pressure Measurement (HBPM) were collected retrospectively across three visits for patients (N=28) referred to a specialty hypertension (HTN) clinic. Demographic data were analyzed using summary statistics. The differences between AOBPM, HBPM, and OBPM were examined using mixed models repeated measures analysis for time and method for each visit.
RADIANCE CAP is a non-randomized study designed to allow for continued access to ultrasound renal denervation therapy via the Paradise System, and to allow for the on-going collection of safety and effectiveness data in subjects with uncontrolled hypertension despite the prescription of antihypertensive medications.
