15 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
The primary purpose of this study is to assess efficacy and safety of Latisse (bimatoprost .03% ophthalmic solution) applied to the lateral and medial eyebrows. The primary outcome is a increase in overall eyebrow prominence as measured by at least a 1-grade increase on the Global Eyebrow Assessment (GEyA) scale, from baseline to the end of the treatment which will be day 270 period.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of bimatoprost solution 0.03% once daily to the upper eyelid margins (where the eyelashes meet the skin) compared with vehicle in increasing overall eyelash prominence in self-identified African American/ethnic black subjects exhibiting hypotrichosis of the eyelashes (inadequate or not enough eyelashes).
This one-year study evaluates the long-term safety and effectiveness of bimatoprost solution application to the eyelid margin (where the eyelashes meet the skin) to treat hypotrichosis of the eyelashes (inadequate or not enough eyelashes). There will be two different types of subjects participating in the study 1)those with inadequate eyelashes due to natural causes or 2) those with inadequate eyelashes following a complete course of chemotherapy treatment. There will be two treatment periods of six months each. Subjects will receive either the study medication or vehicle in either of the two treatment periods.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of bimatoprost solution compared with vehicle in the treatment of eyebrow hypotrichosis (inadequate eyebrows).
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of bimatoprost solution formulation A compared with bimatoprost solution 0.03% (LATISSE®) and vehicle in the treatment of eyelash hypotrichosis (inadequate eyelashes).
This is an observational study of patients treated with bimatoprost 0.03% (Latisse®) for at least 12 months for hypotrichosis of the eyelashes.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of bimatoprost solution 0.03% once daily application to the upper eyelid margins compared with vehicle in treating eyelash loss or hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough eyelashes) in children.
Study to Evaluate the safety and efficacy of a Latanoprost/Minoxidil formulation vs. placebo for the treatment of hypotrichosis of the eyebrows.
This is a study researching the safety and efficacy of Bimatoprost 0.03% soultion versus placebo applied to the eyebrow for the treatment of thinning eyebrows. This is a 36 week study where Bimatoprost 0.03% solution/placebo will be applied once daily to the subjects eyebrow for duration of the study.
The purpose of this study is to determine patient satisfaction with LATISSE® treatment for increasing eyelash prominence.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of mild to moderate eyebrow hypotrichosis. This is a randomized clinical trial to evaluate the effect of autologous platelet rich plasma in subjects with mild to moderate eyebrow hypotrichosis. Approximately 40 subjects will be randomized to receive platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or saline injections. The study is designed as an 9-month study. This study was a pilot study designed to determine feasibility of this procedure. Subjects currently living in the Chicago metropolitan area and meet inclusion/exclusion criteria will be considered for enrollment.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.005% or 0.015% compared with bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03% once-daily application to the upper eyelid margins in increasing eyelash prominence
The main purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of baricitinib for the treatment of severe or very severe alopecia areata (hair loss) in children from 6 years to less than 18 years of age. The study is divided into 4 periods, a 5-week Screening period, a 36-week Double-Blind Treatment Period, an approximately 2-year Long-term Extension Period, and a 4-week Post-treatment Follow-up period.
A internally controlled, single-blinded, randomized controlled trial to investigate the use of Bimatoprost eyelash gel on eyelash growth and appearance in breast cancer patients who suffer from madarosis (loss of eyelashes) due to the side effects of chemotherapy. IND and IRB approval have been obtained.
The injection of autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a relatively novel therapy, generating interest across a wide variety of medical specialties, such as orthopedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Several recently published studies have demonstrated efficacy in treating androgenetic alopecia (aka male or female patterned hair loss), but each varies in the treatment protocol, and there is no evidence-based data to date guiding the dosing parameters of and intervals between injection sessions. We propose a single-center, single-blinded randomized pilot trial to investigate the most beneficial number and frequency ('schedule') of necessary PRP injections in men and women with androgenetic alopecia.
