The study will be a prospective, randomized, multi-center, split-face, controlled, double-blind clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of ELLANSÉ®-S for the treatment of NLFs. Subjects will be randomized to receive treatment (ELLANSÉ®-S) in one NLF and control (Radiesse®) in the contralateral NLF. A total of 126 subjects will be treated. The control and test articles will be supplied in sterile ready-to-use, pre-filled syringes. Initial treatment and any 4-week touch-up will be done consistent with initial randomization. Any retreatment(s) in either NLF will be with ELLANSÉ®-S. Subjects who meet Inclusion/Exclusion criteria will receive an initial treatment, an optional touch up at the 4-week visit, and may be eligible to receive retreatment at either 12 or 18 months after treatment (determined by when the fold has returned to baseline score, or the fold has lost at least 1 point on the Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale (WSRS) from optimal improvement). Retreatment to one side is allowed if only one side qualifies, but the other side may not be retreated at a later visit. If retreatment occurs, the subject may also be eligible to receive an optional touch up at the 4-week follow up visit. If a touch up occurs after the initial or retreatment injection, the subject will return for an additional safety visit 2 weeks after each injection. A week 4 safety visit will occur after retreatment touch-up. Primary effectiveness will be assessed at 6 months. All subjects will be followed for a minimum of 24 months after the initial treatment phase. After each injection, subjects will be contacted by telephone call/email after 72 hours and will return for a safety visit 2 weeks after treatment. At the week 4 visit, subjects will be assessed for a touch up. If a touch up is indicated as determined by the investigator, the investigator will use the same material as that used for initial treatment for the respective side. In addition, subjects will be seen at 6 weeks 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 months (from the end of the initial treatment phase). Subjects receiving a retreatment (at 12 or 18 months after treatment) will return for additional safety visits at 2 weeks and 3 and 6 months after this retreatment (the 6 month coincides with regularly scheduled visit). Subjects will have the option of a retreatment touch up injection at 4 weeks after retreatment, and if they do will have another call at 72hrs and a week 2 safety visit. The validated Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale will be used for assessment of the primary effectiveness endpoint (1). Assessment of the secondary effectiveness endpoints will include use of WSRS, the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS), VAS pain assessment, the validated FACE-Q Appraisal of Nasolabial Folds Questionnaire, the FACE-Q Satisfaction with Treatment Outcome Scale and the FACE-Q Age Appraisal VAS. The study will last approximately 30 months. All subjects will be recruited within approximately 6 months after the recruitment of the first subject and followed for a minimum of 24 months after the initial treatment visit. Subjects receiving a retreatment (at 12 or 18 months) will receive a telephone call/email 72 hours after retreatment and they will return for an additional safety visit 2 weeks after retreatment. Subjects may receive a retreatment touch up at 4 weeks after retreatment, and if touched up, will have safety visits at 2 and 4 weeks. All retreated subjects will also be asked to attend month 3 and month 6 safety visits. The 6-month safety visit will correspond with the next study visit (e.g., 18 month or 24-month visit depending on when they are reinjected) 126 male and female subjects will be enrolled. This enrollment number accounts for a 20% attrition rate, to ensure an adequate safety population for long-term follow-up, and a Per Protocol Set (PPS) of at least 101 NLFs per treatment arm. At least 20% of treated subjects will have Fitzpatrick Skin Types IV, V, and VI. Of these, at least, 10% will be Type IV, 5% Type V and 5% Type VI. The investigative sites will be encouraged to enroll both male and female subjects. In addition, up to 2 non-randomized, non-split-face run-in subjects will be treated with ELLANSÉ®-S by each investigator to allow the investigator to become familiar with injection characteristics. This run-in cohort will be required to meet all study inclusion/exclusion criteria and will be followed in the same manner as the non-run-in cohort. Up to seven US sites will participate.
This is a randomized, split-face, subject-blinded, comparative study. Subjects will receive initial treatment with Defyne on one of the NLFs and with RHA3 on the other based on the pre-determined randomization. 4 weeks after the initial treatment, subjects will receive optional touch-up on one side or both sides at the Investigator's discretion for optimal correction. Subjects to return to the site at Month 3, 6, and 12 for follow-ups.
This is a randomized, controlled, double-blinded, within-subject (split-face), multicenter, prospective study to investigate whether RHA® 4 with New Anesthetic Agent is non-inferior to RHA® 4 (with lidocaine) in terms of injection site pain felt by the subject during injection. At screening, the Treating Investigator (TI) evaluated subjects' NLF severity (using the Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale; WSRS) to confirm eligibility and to establish a pre-treatment score for assessing aesthetic improvement. At Visit 1, RHA® 4 With New Anesthetic Agent was administered in a random sequence (first or second injection) and side of the face (left or right) and RHA® 4 with lidocaine was administered to the other side. Study subjects and the TI injecting study devices were blinded. Immediately after injection of each side, subjects rated injection site pain experienced during injection using a 100 mm Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Injection site pain in each side of the face was also assessed at 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes post-injection. Safety evaluation consisted of AE assessments, a 30-day CTR (Common Treatment Response) diary and a follow-up call performed by the study site at 72 hours after injection. Subjects attended Visit 2 (30 days post-injection) where efficacy and safety assessments will be conducted. Subjects who present with an unresolved clinically significant device related AE at Visit 2 received the optional follow-up phone call no later than 30 days after Visit 2. If the clinically significant AE remained unresolved, the Investigator requested that the subject attended the optional in-clinic follow-up visit (i.e., Visit 3) within 5 working days. Follow-up of the clinically significant AE continued until the AE was resolved or the TI determines that additional follow-up was not necessary.
Clinical Investigation to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of Princess Filler Lidocaine in the correction of moderate to severe nasolabial folds
This study has been designed to evaluate the safety of Sculptra Aesthetic as a single regimen for correction of Nasolabial Fold (NLF) contour deficiencies after changes in reconstitution and injection procedures compared to the approved label.
Demonstrate the effectiveness of Belotero Balance with lidocaine (Test group) for the reduction of injection-related pain in comparison to Belotero Balance without lidocaine (Control group) for the correction of NLFs. Identify and describe adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) during the course of the study. Additionally, common treatment site responses (CTRs) will be assessed.

Study DA-13-007 is a randomized, evaluator-blinded, within subject (split face) multicenter clinical study of DA-13-007l (Injectable poly-l-lactic acid) compared to SCULPTRA in the treatment of nasolabial fold wrinkles. Qualifying subjects will be randomized to receive DA-13-007l and SCULPTRA on either the right or left side of the face.
The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of TEOSYAL® RHA Ultra Deep versus Perlane-L® in the treatment of moderate to severe nasolabial folds. This is a controlled, randomized, double-blinded, within subject (split-face), multicenter, prospective clinical study.

Platelets are a component of blood, which contain factors which can enhance wound healing. This study proposes to evaluate the clinical response of laugh lines treated with a concentrated preparation of the subject's own platelets injected into or under the skin by taking serial photographs of the subject's face over a 12 week period. Also, the same preparation will be injected into or under the skin of the arm near the elbows, and serial biopsies will be taken over a 12 week period.

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of injection with DGE Injectable Gel (hyaluronic acid with lidocaine manufactured by Genzyme Biosurgery) as compared to injection with Restylane (a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved dermal filler) in patients undergoing cutaneous correction of the nasolabial folds (NLFs).
This study is being undertaken to: * evaluate the degree of correction attainable with DL6049 (injectable poly-L-lactic acid)compared to a commercially available CosmoPlast™ Collagen Implant in the treatment of dermal nasolabial fold wrinkles at 13 months following the last application of study treatment. * Document the types and incidence of adverse events reported with DL6049 (injectable poly-L-lactic acid)compared with CosmoPlast™ Collagen Implant. Long term adverse events will be assessed for an additional 12 months following discharge from the main study in subjects treated with DL6049.

The purpose of this research study is to compare subject comfort during and after injection with NADGL and Captique® Injectable Gel, in the nasolabial folds. Captique® is an FDA-approved product without lidocaine and is manufactured by Genzyme Biosurgery (Ridgefield, NJ). NADGL is a new product (not FDA approved) with lidocaine and is also manufactured by Genzyme Biosurgery. We do not know which of these treatments results in less pain during and after injection. The safety of NADGL is also being studied.
This is a randomized, double-blind pivotal study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of CosmetaLife injectable dermal filler for the correction of wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (i.e., smile lines).
The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of Aquamid and Restylane in aesthetically enhancing nasolabial folds 6 months after treatment and to evaluate the safety of Aquamid through 12 months after treatment. The study includes an extended follow up to 24 months.
To assess the likelihood of keloid and scar formation, pigmentation disorders and hypersensitivity reactions in patients with skin of color undergoing correction of facial soft tissue contour deficiencies with Hylaform, Hylaform Plus or Captique.
The study device, Sculptra, is an injectable implant formulation of poly-L-lactic acid microbeads, approved by the FDA for treatment of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy of HIV disease). It is being used off-label by dermatologists to treat dermal defects, as a biologically active filler. Anecdotal evidence suggests that subjects' skin quality may improve as a result of poly-L-lactic acid injection. While this is not the primary goal of such treatments it is often seen and described as so called "Sculptra glow". Based upon the study doctor's experience global skin quality improvement includes radiance, smoothness and pigment uniformity as well as a decrease in skin redness and pore size. In this study we evaluate the existence of histopathological (microscopic examination of tissue) evidence that can explain the observed improvement of skin quality after poly-L-lactic acid injections. Specifically, we will use histopathologic techniques to investigate effects of Sculptra injections into human skin with regard to restoring skin health and epidermal thickness.
Multicenter (two clinical sites), unblinded, no control group, prospective feasibility study. Subject participation may last up to 24 months after enrollment. Treatment will be performed at Day 1 and optionally at Day 30, with the primary safety and effectiveness evaluation at 2 months. Subjects will continue extended follow-up evaluations at 4, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months after the final injection. The duration and follow-up schedule will be identical, independent of treatment performed.
