2 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
This study is a prospective, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, crossover clinical trial looking at whether gabapentin can provide symptom relief for chronic irritability in neurologically impaired children. The investigators hypothesize gabapentin ins beneficial and safe for children with chronic irritability that persists despite identification and appropriate management of symptom sources.
This trial is a randomized controlled trial of two standard anti-reflux procedures, Nissen fundoplication versus gastrojejunal feeding tubes (GJ tubes), in children and adolescents with functional and intellectual impairment who have gastrostomy feeding tubes and medically refractory or severe gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This is a pilot study to establish feasibility before initiating a multi-centered study.
