3 Clinical Trials for Various Conditions
This observational research study aims to build a multinational electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) registry of adult end users in outpatient and community settings using intermittent catheter(s) to void via the urethra to manage urinary retention and incomplete bladder emptying. Research participants will be asked to self-report on various attributes of their currently prescribed intermittent catheters and other various aspects of using an intermittent catheter.
Subjects with non-neurogenic over-active bladder will be enrolled. The hypothesis is that augmentation cystoplasty using an autologous neo-bladder construct will increase functional capacity and thereby reduce the number of micturition episodes per day in subjects with non-neurogenic over active bladder and urge predominant incontinence.
The purpose of this research study is to help determine if 10 injections of Botox ® 100 units is less painful than 20 injections of Botox ® 100 units based on effectiveness in reducing urge incontinence episodes. Study will also be assessed for the pain of procedure and adverse outcomes of 20 injections versus 10 injections.
