COMPLETED
COVID-19 Testing Pilot Study
Description

The purpose of this study is to determine the reliability of a low-cost rapid diagnostic test for COVID-19. The method of the testing procedure uses electrochemistry to detect COVID-19 spike proteins within human samples. To test the effectiveness of this new method, patients will be recruited as they present for testing at ambulatory Penn testing sites. Patients will be asked to self-collect one anterior nares samples under the supervision of authorized study personnel.

COMPLETED
Evaluation of Clinical Performance and Usability of iStatis COVID-19 Ag Rapid Test at POC
Description

A rapid point of care test for the detection of virus particles will be compared to the FDA approved EUA RT-PCR detection standard. The iStatis COVID-19 Ag Rapid Test is intended for rapid point-of-care detection of the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen.

WITHDRAWN
Performance Evaluation of SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19) Antigen Rapid Test
Description

The SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test is a bioassay intended for rapid point-of-care detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Performance of the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test assay will be assessed by comparison to a reference method.

TERMINATED
Sensitivity of Frequent SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Rapid Antigen Testing Regimen
Description

This study aims to assess how an at-home COVID-19 frequent testing regimen using the CoV-SCAN test kit and a paired phone application to help interpret the test result compares to once-a-week or three-times-a-week polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (molecular) testing to identify a SARS-CoV-2 infection. Employees and cast members at Media and Entertainment Company and its affiliates will be recruited to test whether frequent use of CoV-SCAN will perform as well or better than weekly molecular testing and at least as well as three-times-a-week molecular testing.

COMPLETED
Repeat Testing for SARS-CoV-2
Description

The purpose of this research study is to determine if high-frequency, rapid turn-around SARS-CoV-2 surveillance testing with this assay is feasible and able to be optimized to enable isolation and follow-up diagnostic testing. This test will be performed at various locations in the Madison, Wisconsin area using a mobile laboratory or standard lab space for processing. Saliva samples can be collected and processed at these locations or participants can self-collect at home and drop their samples off at designated locations for same day processing. Up to 10000 participants will be recruited for this study.

COMPLETED
Feasibility of Rapid COVID-19 Testing in Disadvantaged Populations
Description

The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of establishing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) testing at a federally-qualified health center (FQHC) during a global health crisis to mitigate COVID-19 disparities in socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.

COMPLETED
Evaluation of Safety, Tolerability and Immune Responses of Ebola-S and Marburg Vaccines in Healthy Adults
Description

Primary Objective: • To evaluate the safety and tolerability of cAd3-EBO-S and cAd3 Marburg vaccines when administered Intramuscular (IM) at a dose of 1 x 10\^11 particle units (PU) to healthy adults. Secondary Objectives: * To evaluate the antibody response to Monovalent Chimpanzee Adenoviral Vectored Filovirus Ebola-S (cAd3-EBO-S) and Monovalent Chimpanzee Adenoviral Vectored Filovirus (Marburg) (cAd3 Marburg) vaccines as assessed by antigen glycoprotein (GP) specific (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) ELISA * To collect sufficient post-vaccination plasma to support further development of filovirus assays
