Concurrent Use Lymphoseek & Indocyanine Green in Sentinel Lymph Node Detection in Endometrial Cancer
Description

The goal of this study is to (i) improve detection of sentinel nodes and (ii) reduce additional surgical dissection that is needed in case a sentinel lymph node cannot be detected.

Indocyanine Green and Near-infrared Fluorescence Imaging to Detect Sentinel Lymph Nodes in Patients With Endometrial Cancer
Description

Patients with endometrial cancer who have planned robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy and full bilateral pelvic and para-aortic lymphadenectomy will receive injections of a fluorescent dye, Indocyanine green (ICG). ICG spreads through the lymphatic system, and will be visualized using near-infrared (NIR) imagers. Upon visualization of the path of the ICG, sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs), the first nodes to receive drainage from the primary tumor, will be identified. SLNs will be surgically removed and provided to Pathology for evaluation. Non-sentinel nodes will also be surgically removed, as is consistent with routine medical care for these patients, and given to Pathology for evaluation. A positive SLN may be the most accurate identifier of the extra-uterine spread of disease, and will provide information about the extent of surgical node removal necessary.

Study of Near-Infrared Imaging With Indocyanine Green for Detection of Sentinel Lymph Nodes in People With Vulvar Cancer
Description

The purpose of this study is to compare two types of imaging for sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping in people with early-stage vulvar cancer. The researchers will compare indocyanine green near-infrared (ICG-NIR) imaging with lymphoscintigraphy. All participants in this study will be scheduled for standard surgical treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). This surgical treatment includes SLN mapping (with both lymphoscintigraphy and ICG-NIR imaging) and SLN biopsy.

Contrast Ultrasound Detection of Sentinel Lymph Nodes
Description

This is a two part, open label, non-randomized trial of women with a breast cancer diagnosis scheduled for excisional surgery and sentinel lymph node (SLN) evaluation. Part 1 is a two-period, crossover, dose-finding study, which will be performed in 12 healthy female volunteers to determine the optimal dose as well as the safety and tolerability of the tissue-specific, contrast agent Sonazoid (GE Healthcare, Oslo, Norway) for human lymphatic applications. In Part 2 lymphosonographic SLN identification will be compared to that of isotope mapping during surgery on 90 female, breast cancer patients.

Evaluation of an Integrated Imaging System For In Vivo Detection of Fluorescently Labeled Lesions
Description

This is a pilot study to test and characterize the ability of the Smart Goggles system to detect fluorescently labeled sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs). Specifically, this study will test the sensitivity and specificity of the Smart Goggles to detect indocyanine green (ICG) accumulation in sentinel lymph nodes of breast cancer patients after peritumoral injection of ICG (Cardio-GreenTM), under standard-of-care application conditions.

Detection of SLN in Patients With Endometrial Cancer Undergoing Robotic Assisted Staging: Comparison of ISB and ICG
Description

The investigators hypothesis is that if sensitivity and specificity are found to be significantly higher than the current reports with Technesium-99 and ISB colorimetric dye, SLN biopsies might allow omission of full lymphadenectomy in lower-risk cases, thereby limiting peri-operative morbidity. SLN biopsies might also improve the detection of metastatic disease, essentially lowering the recognized false-negative rate of standard lymphadenectomy analyzed by routine H\&E pathologic analysis.
