RECRUITING
Grasp-Release Assessment of a Networked Neuroprosthesis Device
Description

The overall objective of this trial is to characterize the safety and effectiveness of the Networked Neuroprosthesis Device - Upper Extremity (NP-UE) in individuals living with cervical SCI.

NO_LONGER_AVAILABLE
Individual Patient Expanded Access IND of Hope Biosciences Autologous Adipose-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Treatment of SCI
Description

This study is expanded access to an Investigational New Drug (IND) for an individual patient with spinal cord injury (SCI) at cervical spine 5-6 (C 5-6) designed to provide access to autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (HB-adMSCs)

TERMINATED
Use of Implanted Microstimulators for Decreasing Spasticity and Improving Motion Following Spinal Cord Injury
Description

The primary aims of this study are to determine the safety of the RFM System (Alfred Mann Foundation, Santa Clarita, CA) in a patient with incomplete SCI and the effect of the RFM system on lower limb strength and spasticity. The secondary aim is to analyze any improvement in the participant's mobility.

COMPLETED
Brain Plus Spinal Stimulation for Cervical SCI
Description

The goal of this project is to strengthen residual corticospinal tract (CST) connections after partial injury using combined motor cortex and spinal cord stimulation to improve arm and hand function after spinal cord injury (SCI). To do this, the investigators will test the combination of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) with transcutaneous spinal direct current stimulation (tsDCS) in individuals with chronic cervical SCI.

RECRUITING
Multi-functional Neuroprosthetic System for Restoration of Motor Function in Spinal Cord Injury
Description

This study is to evaluate the use of a fully implanted device for providing hand function, reach, and trunk function to individuals with cervical spinal cord injury. Funding Sources: FDA OOPD NIH NINDS
