COMPLETED
Evaluation Of Spinelink® Fixation In The Treatment Of Degenerative Spondylolisthesis And Spinal Instability
Description

The purpose of this open, multi-center study is to prospectively collect outcome data on patients who are having lumbar spinal fusion surgery with implantation of the SpineLink® system.

RECRUITING
Intraoperative Monitoring for the Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion Procedure
Description

This study is designed to evaluate the clinical utility of a known intraoperative neuromonitoring modality (SSEP) using saphenous nerve as the site of stimulation to identify changes to the lumbar nerves which may be at risk during the lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) procedure.

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION
Cervical Interbody Implant Study
Description

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and performance of cervical spine surgery using interbody implants as measured by reported complications, radiographic outcomes, and patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

RECRUITING
Prospective SPINE Registry
Description

This study is a prospective, multi-center, open label registry designed to collect real-world data on performance and safety data on RTI's spine products.

COMPLETED
Streamline Occipito-Cervico-Thoracic System Post-Market Clinical Follow-up
Description

This is a multi-center, post-market, retrospective study design to collect safety and performance data for patients implanted with the Streamline OCT System.

COMPLETED
Improving Pain and Reducing Opioid Use (IPaRO) in Lumbar Spine Surgery Patients
Description

Patients presenting for lumbar spine surgery experience pain related to their spine condition. Following surgery, these patients also experience surgical pain resulting from disruption of skin, muscle tissue, vertebrae, intervertebral discs, and facet joints. This pain is often treated with opioid medications - with roughly 40% of patient experiencing sub-optimal pain management. Adequate pain control has become a top priority among professional societies, healthcare systems, and accrediting agencies. The current proposal will provide this critical evidence of feasibility and acceptability of a multi-modal pain management plan for patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery. Additionally, this study will provide critical preliminary data to compare the effectiveness of protocol-driven multi-modal pain management to control post-operative pain, reduce opioid medication use, and improve physical activity, sleep, and health.

WITHDRAWN
Home Program Education for Patients With Low Back Pain
Description

The primary purpose of this study is to assess the effect size of the change in Oswestry Disability Questionnaire (ODQ) score over the 8 week follow-up period between the video based instruction or standard of care hand-out with pictures and written instructions for subjects meeting the clinical prediction rule for lumbar stabilization. The second purpose will be to determine if there is a subset of physical examination and self-reported variables that are associated with having a successful result (ODQ improvement by at least 6 points) and if the subset of variables are affected by whether or not the subject was in the intervention (video) or control (handout) group.

TERMINATED
Clinical Outcomes of the Trinica(R) Anterior Lumbar Plate: Fixed Screws vs. Variable Screws
Description

Trinica Anterior Lumbar Plate (ALP) System is a commercially available, supplemental fusion device for use in the lumbar or sacral spine (L1-S1) to treat instability. The system provides the surgeon with the ability to supplement an interbody device with anterior plate fixation. The device's bone-plate interface is enhanced through use of fixed-angled screws,variable-angle screws or a combination of both to accommodate various combinations of screw configurations, resulting in enhanced fixation tailored to individual patient needs. Clinical outcomes data, including a comparison of different screw configurations, is needed to support the use and of the Trinica ALP System.

TERMINATED
A Clinical Study of the Dynesys(R) Spinal System
Description

This non-inferiority study will compare the clinical outcomes of subjects implanted with the Dynesys Spinal System versus the clinical outcomes of subjects implanted with an instrumented posterior lateral spinal fusion.

RECRUITING
Incomplete Cervical SCI Without Instability
Description

A multicenter, international, prospective, observational case series patient cohort with incomplete cervical SCI without instability will be enrolled to obtain information and data that could inform the feasibility of administering a set of additional core and optional outcome assessments in cervical SCI patients to capture the aspects of neurologic impairment. Baseline, intraoperative, and postoperative characteristics, including demographics, injury details, treatment details, neurological assessments, gait and balance assessments and upper extremity assessments, will be recorded for adult patients.

COMPLETED
Effect of Joint Mobilization in the Treatment of Chronic Ankle Instability
Description

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a gentle pressure movement performed at the ankle by a physical therapist on muscle function and ankle motion in individuals who frequently twist (sprain) their ankle.

RECRUITING
Regional Anesthesia in Minimally Invasive Lumbar Spine Surgery
Description

Opioid overuse is a widespread public health crisis in the United States with increasing rates of addiction and overdose deaths from prescription opioids. Reducing the need for opiate analgesics in the post-operative setting has become a high priority in minimizing long-term opioid use in surgical patients. This study will serve to demonstrate the efficacy of the addition of regional analgesic techniques in reducing post-operative opioid requirements in patients undergoing common lumbar spinal surgical procedures.

TERMINATED
INFUSE®Bone Graft in Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion for Degenerative Disease of Lumbosacral Spine
Description

This investigation will provide safety and effectiveness information on the use of INFUSE® Bone Graft with the CAPSTONE® Spinal System and CD HORIZON® Spinal System with a Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) surgical approach at one or two adjacent levels from L2-S1 to treat subjects with advanced degenerative disease of the lumbosacral spine.

COMPLETED
Posterior Lateral Fusion (PLF) With Dynesys
Description

The primary purpose of this study is to track and document the clinical outcomes of patients with radicular pathology following posterior lateral fusion with the Dynesys Spinal System. Secondary purpose of this study is to assess outcomes with historical controls along a continuum of motion and anatomy sparing procedures.
