Evaluating the Use of Photodynamic Therapy to Treat Facial Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Situ (SCCis)
Description

The goal of this clinical trial is to test how safe and effective it is to treat early form of cancer cells found in the upper skin layer of the face, using a light-sensitive gel used in combination with a light source. The main questions this trial aims to answer are: * to confirm using laboratory testing, how much of the affected facial skin cancer section the treatment was able to remove, and; * seeing how many participants had no remaining affected facial skin cancer sections after treatment. Participants who qualify will be asked to complete 14 visits in total and will receive a total of two treatments, after voluntarily consent has been given.

Description

The purpose of this first in human and proof of concept study is to characterize the safety, tolerability and initial efficacy of CLL442 in patients with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in situ (SCCis) to enable further clinical development of CLL442.

Photodynamic Therapy to Treat Actinic Damage in Patients With Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) of the Lip
Description

Our study is designed to evaluate the efficacy of photodynamic therapy (PDT) for treatment of actinic cheilitis (AC) and as an adjunct to Mohs surgery for squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) on the lips. This study will utilize an FDA approved PDT modality (DUSA, Inc., Wilmington, MA 01887) using topical 5-amino-levulinic acid (ALA) for photosensitization followed by exposure to a Blu-U light source emitting 405-420nm wavelength light.

Description

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of pharmaceutical compound 31510 in a topical cream when applied to in situ cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and to obtain preliminary efficacy data for the treatment of in situ cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma by Compound 31510 topical cream.
