This is a phase III, multicenter, randomized, double-masked, active treatment-controlled study of intravitreally administered ranibizumab compared with verteporfin (Visudyne) photodynamic therapy (PDT) in treating subfoveal neovascular mascular degeneration.

The purpose of this extension study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of brolucizumab used in a Treat-to-Control-regimen for treatment of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration who have completed the CRTH258A2303 (TALON) study. The main objective was to assess brolucizumab's potential for long durability up to 20 weeks. All eligible participants were treated with brolucizumab regardless of their treatment in the TALON study. The study period was 56 weeks including post-treatment follow-up.
This research study will examine the safety and effectiveness of ONS-5010 in participants with AMD. The goal is to prevent vision loss by evaluating the effectiveness of ONS-5010 as compared with ranibizumab.
The objectives of this study are to establish the safety and tolerability of intravitreous administration of altering regimens of Fovista™ (Anti-PDGF-B pegylated aptamer) administered in combination with Anti-VEGF therapy (Lucentis®, Avastin® or Eylea®) in subjects with subfoveal neovascular age-related macular degeneration. Subjects will be treated with Fovista™ and Anti-VEGF therapy every month for the first three months. Retreatment with Fovista™ and Anti-VEGF will occur if the following findings are present PER INVESTIGATOR DISCRETION: * ≥ 5 ETDRS letters loss OR; * Significant hemorrhage OR; * New or increased RPE elevation consistent with increased disease activity OR; * Increased neovascular lesion size OR; * New or increased foveal intraretinal fluid If anti-VEGF re-treatment is not administered based on the re-treatment criteria noted above, Fovista™ anti-PDGF therapy MUST be administered at a minimum of every 3 months (as monotherapy). Therefore, subjects will be treated with Fovista™ or Anti-VEGF therapy for a total of 3-24 administrations.
The primary purpose of this study is to assess the safety \& tolerability of an investigational drug 20089 TA (6.9 mg or 13.8 mg) when used adjunctively with Lucentis 0.5 mg in subjects with sub-foveal neovascular AMD.
This is a phase III, multicenter, randomized, double masked, sham injection-controlled study of the efficacy and safety of intravitreally administered ranibizumab in subjects with subfoveal choroidal neovascularization secondary to age-related macular degeneration.
