Prospective Observational Cohort Study of Fetal Atrial Flutter & Supraventricular Tachycardia
Description

The FAST Trial Registry is a prospective observational cohort study of fetuses with a new diagnosis of atrial flutter (AF) or supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) that is severe enough to consider prenatal treatment (see eligibility criteria below). Aims of the Registry include to establish a large clinical database to determine and compare the efficacy and safety of different prenatal treatment strategies including observation without immediate treatment, transplacental antiarrhythmic fetal treatment and direct fetal treatment from the time of tachycardia diagnosis to death, neonatal hospital discharge or to a maximum of 30 days after birth.

The purpose of this study is to find out if specialized programs in the AT500 and EnRhythm pacemakers will reduce the number of irregular heartbeat in the upper chamber of the heart and reduce symptoms (such as shortness of breath, dizziness, and others).

Etripamil Nasal Spray in Patients With Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia
Description

This Open Label Extension study will enable eligible patients with Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT) who have previously participated in a Milestone Pharmaceuticals clinical trial of etripamil NS for PSVT, to access continued treatment with etripamil NS, Patients who experienced any significant safety issues during participation period in a previous clinical trial of etripamil NS, as per Investigator's assessment , are excluded. This study will be conducted by Investigators who previously participated in a Milestone Pharmaceuticals clinical trial and are trained on the use of etripamil NS.

Safety Study of Etripamil Nasal Spray for Patients With Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia. NODE-303
Description

NODE-303 was a multi-center, open label study to evaluate the safety of etripamil NS in participants with Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT). Participants were provided with an ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring System (CMS) to help document PSVT episodes. The CMS was self-applied by the participant, when they felt the onset of PSVT symptoms. Participants self-administered etripamil NS if vagal maneuver was ineffective. After an episode of PSVT where study drug was administered, the participant returned to the investigative site and had the option to continue in NODE-303 and manage up to three subsequent episodes of PSVT with etripamil NS for a maximum of four episodes.

Description

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety of etripamil nasal spray (NS) 70 mg when self-administered by patients with an episode of Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia in an outpatient setting (i.e., without medical supervision).

Efficacy and Safety of Etripamil for the Termination of Spontaneous Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT).
Description

This was a three-part, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of etripamil nasal spray (NS) self-administered by participants who experienced an episode of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) in an at-home setting. NODE-301 Part 1 included participants that received the randomized study drug to treat an episode of PSVT until the 150th positively adjudicated PSVT episode. Part 2 (also referred as the RAPID study) included participants that did not receive the randomized study drug in Part 1 and newly enrolled participants until the 180th positively adjudicated PSVT episode in Part 2. The study continued for approximately 6 months after the 180th positively adjudicated PSVT episode in Part 2 and this extension is referred to as Part 3 (also referred to as RAPID Extension).

Description

Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) is a sporadic, sudden, and recurring tachycardia that is caused by an altered electrical conductivity in the heart. It causes palpitations and a rapid heart rate, which may induce fear in the patient and negatively impact the patient's quality of life. Therefore, most patients experience not only physical symptoms of PSVT, but also dramatic psychological burdens. As PSVT drug development efforts advance, it has become increasingly important to document the impact of PSVT in a systematic way, in terms of the disease natural history and clinical characteristics of PSVT episodes, as well as the psychological impact of the condition as reported by patients over time. In order to meet the needs for ongoing, systematic data collection on PSVT, a multinational registry, The PSVT Place Registry (www.PSVTPlaceRegistry.com), is being implemented and will be initially comprised of data entered directly by patients. The long-term registry is designed with a participant-focused approach to enable continuity of data collection and minimization of impact from changes of participants' health care providers. The registry may be expanded at a later time to include physician-reported data. The information from the registry is planned to be a resource for participants with PSVT, their families and support networks, their doctors, and the research community to better understand PSVT-related symptoms and awareness, PSVT diagnoses, patient self-management, medical treatments for PSVT, and impact of PSVT on quality of life from the patient perspective.

Prospective Randomized Clinical Trial of Fetal Atrial Flutter & Supraventricular Tachycardia Therapy (FAST RCT)
Description

The Fetal Atrial Flutter and Supraventricular Tachycardia (FAST) Therapy Trial is a prospective multi-center trial that examines the efficacy and safety of standard prenatal antiarrhythmic treatment. Study components of FAST include three prospective sub-studies to determine the efficacy and safety of commonly used transplacental drug regimens in suppressing fetal AF without hydrops (Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) A), SVT without hydrops (RCT B), and SVT with hydrops (RCT C). All RCTs are open label phase III trials of standard 1st line therapy, which either is started as monotherapy (no hydrops) or as dual therapy (hydrops).

Multicenter Study of Antiarrhythmic Medications for Treatment of Infants With Supraventricular Tachycardia
Description

This is a randomized, double-blind, multi-centered study to compare 6 months of medical treatment with digoxin or propranolol in infants with SVT Background: SVT is the most common sustained arrhythmia of infancy. Neither digoxin nor propranolol has been evaluated for pediatric use in a controlled trial in the context of SVT, yet both medications are used frequently. Specific aims of the study: To determine whether propranolol and digoxin differ in the: 1. Incidence of recurrent SVT in infants after 6 months of treatment with propranolol or digoxin 2. Time to first recurrence of SVT in infants treated with propranolol or digoxin. 3. Incidence of adverse outcomes in infants treated with propranolol or digoxin.

The NODE-202 Study (Study of Etripamil Nasal Spray in Pediatric Patients)
Description

NODE-202 is a Phase 2, multicenter, multinational, single dose, open-label, 2-part, sequential design study in pediatric patients with an established diagnosis of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) presenting with a symptomatic episode of PSVT. In Part 1, at least 30 patients aged 12 to \<18 years will be enrolled and treated with etripamil nasal spray (NS). Efficacy, safety, tolerability and PK (for at least 12 patients) will be assessed after administration of 70 mg etripamil NS (Part 1A). At least 18 subsequent patients will be enrolled and treated with the etripamil NS with the dose determined by the Pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis and will undergo efficacy and safety/tolerability assessments (Part 1B). In Part 2, at least 30 patients aged 6 to \<12 years will be enrolled and treated with etripamil NS at a dose selected based on appropriate body size-based modeling, as well as efficacy, safety/tolerability, and PK data collected in Part 1. Efficacy, safety, tolerability and PK (for at least 12 patients) will be assessed after administration of etripamil NS (Part 2A). At least 18 subsequent patients will be enrolled and treated with the etripamil NS with the dose determined by the PK analysis and will undergo efficacy and safety/tolerability assessments (Part 2B). The study will include the following visits: A Screening Visit, A Treatment Visit, , and A Follow-Up/End of Study Visit.

Simulation of Adenosine Push Methods for Treatment of SVT Using Agitated Saline Visualized by Ultrasound
Description

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) is an abnormally fast heart rhythm arising from improper electrical activity in the upper part of the heart. SVT is commonly treated with adenosine using three different IV administration techniques. However, it is not well known which of these three techniques is the quickest or most likely to reach the heart in order to stop SVT. This study will simulate each of those techniques in an investigator-blinded procedure. Intravenous agitated saline, used as a surrogate for a dose of adenosine, will be administered to healthy volunteers using all three techniques and monitored using bedside ultrasound to observe their efficacy and speed in reaching the right side of the heart.

The Z Stitch Early Bed Rest Assessment Study
Description

The goal of this study is to understand the effects of early mobilization after a Z stitch procedure in patients undergoing certain heart-related treatments. The investigators want to find out if allowing patients to move around sooner after their procedure can improve their satisfaction and potentially lead to earlier discharge from the hospital. Type of Study: Clinical Trial Participant Population/Health Conditions: Patients aged 18-99 undergoing specific heart procedures such as atrial fibrillation treatment, atrial flutter treatment, supraventricular tachycardia treatment, diagnostic electrophysiology studies, AV node ablation, or Watchman device placement. Main Questions: Does early mobilization (getting up and moving around sooner) after the Z stitch procedure improve patient satisfaction? Participants will be divided into two groups, and researchers will compare those who have one hour of bedrest with those who have four hours of bedrest after the Z stitch procedure. The investigators want to see if the shorter bedrest period leads to higher patient satisfaction.

Description

The purpose of this research is to test the clinical value of a new P-wave sensitive recording vector compared to a standard ECG limb lead II vector from similar easy-to-use long-term cardiac rhythm monitoring patch systems, the Carnation TM Ambulatory Monitoring (CAM) System and the Zio-XT iRhythm. The P-wave is a critical aspect of the electrocardiogram. The purpose of this study is to see if the P-wave centric focus of the CAM system improves arrhythmia diagnosis.

ICY-AVNRT (Intracardiac CrYoablation for AtrioVentricular Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia) is a prospective multi-center, nonrandomized, single arm, controlled, unblinded, investigational clinical study. The purpose of this clinical study is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the Freezor® Xtra Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter for the cryoablation of the conducting tissues of the heart in the treatment of patients with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) using an endocardial approach.

The purpose of this research is to simplify the standard recording system of the heart rhythm. The investigators desire to improve the ease of monitoring the cardiac rhythm for 24 hours. The investigators intent is to use a very small, innovative monitoring patch system that relieves the patient of wearing a cumbersome and uncomfortable recording system. This research trial will carry the title "The Simple ECG Monitoring" for Comparison of a Sternal ECG Recording System with a Standard ECG Recording System for Holter Monitoring. The data from the investigational device is for comparative purposes only. It will not be used by medical personnel for study subject treatment or diagnostic purposes.
