Pacemaker Utilization and Ventricular Pacing in Patients Undergoing Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Description

The purpose of this study is to assess the incidence (at 90-days) of ventricular pacing in patients undergoing permanent pacemaker placement after TAVR. As well as incidence (at 90-days) of atrioventricular block (AVB), intraventricular conduction delay (IVCD), bundle branch block (BBB), and rate histogram in patients undergoing permanent pacemaker placement after TAVR.

To compare the relative efficacy for calcium pre-treatment in decreasing incidence of drug induced hypotension after diltiazem administration for treatment of AFF with RVR. Null Hypothesis: There will be no difference between groups in incidence of hypotension after pretreatment with calcium prior to bolus of diltiazem.

Propagation ANalysis for Arrhythmogenic Conduction Elimination to Prevent Atrial Flutter and Fibrillation (PANACEA-AF)
Description

The purpose of this study is to perform ultra-high density mapping of the left atrium (a chamber of the heart) using the the Rhythmia Mapping System and to determine whether additional ablation in areas of wavefront discontinuities identified by the map will reduce the likelihood of both atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.

The Z Stitch Early Bed Rest Assessment Study
Description

The goal of this study is to understand the effects of early mobilization after a Z stitch procedure in patients undergoing certain heart-related treatments. The investigators want to find out if allowing patients to move around sooner after their procedure can improve their satisfaction and potentially lead to earlier discharge from the hospital. Type of Study: Clinical Trial Participant Population/Health Conditions: Patients aged 18-99 undergoing specific heart procedures such as atrial fibrillation treatment, atrial flutter treatment, supraventricular tachycardia treatment, diagnostic electrophysiology studies, AV node ablation, or Watchman device placement. Main Questions: Does early mobilization (getting up and moving around sooner) after the Z stitch procedure improve patient satisfaction? Participants will be divided into two groups, and researchers will compare those who have one hour of bedrest with those who have four hours of bedrest after the Z stitch procedure. The investigators want to see if the shorter bedrest period leads to higher patient satisfaction.

This study is a single-arm, prospective, multi-center study to assess clinical performance of the SHERLOCK 3CG™ Diamond Tip Confirmation System (TCS) with MODUS II software for confirming correct tip position of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) in adult subjects with altered cardiac rhythm.

Observational Study of Cardiac Arrhythmias During Treatment With BTK Inhibitors or Venetoclax
Description

Background: Bruton s tyrosine kinase inhibitors (BTKi) are used to treat a form of leukemia. But taking BTKi can also increase a person s risk of developing an abnormal heart rhythm. This can cause sudden death. In this natural history study, researchers want to learn how BTKi affects the heart. Objective: To identify and monitor the effects of BTKi on the heart. Eligibility: People aged 18 and older currently receiving or planning to receive BTKi or venetoclax. Design: Participants who have not yet started BTKi will have 2 required clinic visits: 1 before they start taking BTKi, and 1 about 6 months later. Participants who are already taking BTKi will have 1 required visit. Participants will undergo multiple tests: A physical exam, including collection of blood and saliva. A test that measures heart activity via stickers placed on the chest. A test that uses sound waves to capture images of the heart. An exercise stress test that monitors heart activity and blood pressure while the participant works on a treadmill or stationary bike. Sound wave images of the heart may also be taken while the participant exercises. Stress magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be done in place of an exercise test. Participants will lie on a table that slides into a tube. They will be given drugs to stress the heart while images are taken. Participants may wear a device to monitor their heart at home. Participants may have repeat visits if they develop heart symptoms or if they need to stop taking BTKi. They will have follow-up phone calls each year for up to 3 years. ...

Novel Cardiac Signal Processing System
Description

This study is designed to collect parallel intracardiac signal data during pre-defined periods of clinical interest from the PURE EP system and the existing signal recording and mapping systems. The collected signals will then undergo BLINDED, CONTROLLED evaluation by unbiased electrophysiologist reviewer(s) to determine whether the PURE EP signals provides additional or clearer diagnostic information.

EnSite Precision Observational Study
Description

This document is a clinical investigation plan (CIP) for the EnSite Precision Observational Study. This clinical study is intended to quantify and characterize the usage of the EnSite Precision™ Cardiac Mapping System (Software version 2.0.1 or higher) in a real-world environment. This study will be conducted in patients who are indicated for a cardiac electrophysiological (EP) mapping and radio frequency ablation procedure using a three-dimensional system.
