Accuracy of TCOM vs NIRS in Predicting Wound Outcomes in Patients Treated With or Without Revascularization

Missouri · Kansas City, MO

The primary purpose of this project is to compare the accuracy of transcutaneous oxygen monitoring and near infrared spectroscopy in assessing cutaneous oxygen levels in chronic wounds of patients following revascularization procedures as well as those with conservatively managed chronic wounds. This study will also compare the efficiency and practicality of both methods in guiding treatment decisions and management of these wounds.

Correlating Multispectral Near-Infrared Imaging to Standard Vascular Diagnostics

New York

The goal of this observational study is to learn if the measures of tissue oxygenation from the MIMOSA Pro imaging device correlate to standard vascular assessment tools in patients who receiving a lower extremity vascular assessment. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Do the MIMOSA Pro tissue oxygenation measures correlate to Ankle-Brachial Index, Toe-Brachial Index, transcutaneous oximetry, and Doppler wave forms? * Do the MIMOSA Pro tissue oxygenation measures correlate with disease classifications for peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and wound stage? * Is the MIMOSA Pro able to measure vascular status more often than other modalities? Participants will be asked to follow standard of care, and also allow for their legs to imaged by the MIMOSA Pro.

Relationship Between EIT and Respiratory Status in Very Preterm Infants

Massachusetts · Worcester, MA

Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that can measure lung function in real time. This study will follow premature infants to see if EIT can help predict which infants will be successful in weaning off respiratory support by 32-33 weeks gestational age. If successful, EIT could be used to develop new guidelines for respiratory support in premature infants.
