Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

Johns Hopkins clinical research office quality assurance group will monitor and audit this study at Johns Hopkins. The Sub Investigator at each site will be responsible for internal monitoring at their site.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Hereditary Pancreatitis or
  2. * Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome or
  3. * Strong family history of pancreas cancer on one side of the family tree or
  4. * Confirmed germline mutation carrier (BRCA2, FAMMM (CDKN2A/p16), PALB2, BRCA1, ATM, HNPCC, Lynch Syndrome (hMLH1, hMSH2, PMS2, hMSH6, EpCAM) PRSS1, PRSS2, R122H, N291l, SPINK1, CFTR
  5. * Endoscopic evaluation of pancreas scheduled
  1. * Medical comorbidities or coagulopathy that contraindicate endoscopy
  2. * Prior surgery that prevent optimal endoscopic ultrasound such as partial or complete gastrectomy with Bilroth or Roux-en-Y anastomosis
  3. * Stricture or obstruction in the upper GI tract that does not allow passage of the echoendoscope
  4. * Poor performance status
  5. * Inability to provide informed consent
  6. * Pregnancy.
