Genetics of Uveitis

Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

In order to improve the investigators knowledge about uveitis and the underlying mechanism of disease, the investigators propose collecting blood from patients with uveitis, isolating DNA and sequencing the DNA to identify genetic mutations or associations in these patients.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:6 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Any patient above with the diagnosis of uveitis.
  2. * Any patient with a diagnosis of infectious uveitis such as toxoplasmosis retinochoroiditis, herpes associated retinitis.
  1. * Patients who are unable to give consent
  2. * Patients in whom an adequated blood sample can not be obtained.
