Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to measure energy expenditure during the first 3 months of life in infants.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:1 Month to 3 Months
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:CHILD
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Healthy, full-term infant
  2. * Aged 1 month (28 days) to 3 months (12 weeks, 6 days) at the first visit
  3. * Exclusively fed breast milk and/or infant formula
  4. * Willing to accept doubly-labeled water
  1. * Unable to complete 3 clinic visits within about 14 days at Pennington Biomedical Research Center
  2. * Born preterm (\< 37 weeks gestation)
  3. * Congenital abnormality or disability
  4. * Gastric reflux
  5. * Acute illness within 7 days of the study (fever, diarrhea)
  6. * Use of medications to treat a chronic condition (does not include use of vitamin supplements or PRN medication for flatulence or reflux such as Pepcid)
