Participation Criteria

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Males and Females Between Ages of 18 and 65
  2. * Diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder without Psychotic Features or Bipolar I/II
  3. * Requiring ECT Treatment as Part of Psychiatric Care
  1. * Comorbid diagnoses of Major Depressive Disorder with Psychotic Features, Schizoaffective Disorder, Schizophrenia or Dementia
  2. * History of Psychosis
  3. * Substance Use Disorder (Abuse or Dependence) with Active Use Within Last 6 Months
  4. * Severe or Unstable Medical Illness
  5. * Medical Contraindication to Anesthesia or ECT (e.g., Recent Myocardial Infarction)
