Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This study will test a brief telephonic health coaching intervention to improve adherence to positive airway pressure therapy for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * English- or Spanish-speaking
  2. * At least 18 years of age
  3. * Had previously received a modem-enabled positive airway pressure device for the treatment of sleep apnea
  4. * Not currently meeting Medicare standards for adherence of at least 4 hours per night for at least 70% of the last 30 nights
  5. * Received care from the San Francisco General Hospital Sleep Clinic
  1. * Not English- or Spanish-speaking
  2. * Younger than 18 years
  3. * Does not have phone number at which could be reached
