Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The current study examines the efficacy of a cognitive training intervention for improving emotion regulation in psychotic disorders. it is hypothesized that the cognitive training program will enhance prefrontal activation, leading to enhanced emotion regulation.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 60 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * diagnostic and statistical manual fifth edition diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
  2. * 18-60 years old
  3. * speaks English
  4. * premorbid intelligence quotient \> 70
  5. * clinically stable as indicated by no antipsychotic medication changes in the last month or if on depot, no change in the past 2 months.
  1. * history of intellectual disability or neurological disorder
  2. * history of traumatic brain injury with loss of consciousness \> 10 minutes or behavioral sequelae
  3. * substance use disorder within the last 6 months (other than nicotine)
  4. * 4) endorsement of MRI exclusion factors
