This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

To discover if a positive description of the procedure for an epidural can reduce the overall pain score associated with the procedure.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * pregnancy
  2. * requesting an epidural for the first time
  1. * previous epidural (either for labor or for surgery)
  2. * BMI greater than 40 kg/m\^2
  3. * previous lumbar spine surgery
  4. * inability to speak English
  5. * a history of chronic pain or are on chronic opioids
  6. * a history of opioid drug abuse
