Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to test the effect of Auricular Percutaneous Electrical Nerve Field Stimulation (a Neurostim device) on children with pain and Post Concussion symptoms. An additional purpose of this study is to demonstrate that PENFS improves functioning in children with post Covid-19 symptoms.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:11 Years to 18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Clinical diagnosis of Post-Concussion Syndrome
  2. * Post-Concussion Symptoms for at least 3 months along with lack of other explanation for their symptoms
  3. * English and Spanish-speaking families
  1. * Seizure disorders
  2. * Significant developmental delay
  3. * Infection or severe dermatological condition of ear
  4. * Bleeding disorders
  5. * Implanted electrical device
  6. * Child is in between the ages 11-18
  7. * Child is present at CHOC Neurology clinic post covid-19 symptoms of more than 3 months duration along with lack of other explanation for their symptoms
  8. * English-speaking and Spanish-speaking families
